A Call to the Wolfpack #3

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:34 pm

Carrots, I'll probably lower it to expert next time. Master can make a simple snack your death sentence. It's hard enough to do a lap with getting burnt or frozen by a dragon.

I love master :wallbash: :tes: :wallbash: ..... I shall heed your warning. I know all to well just how much of a challenge life can be for a werewolf when on master

So, i was doing my "extream waterfall meditation" with the paladin style character I'm prepping to wipe out the vampire scum and i got to thinking. I'd just gotten a level up, long since gotten spellbreaker back at lvl 10, and looking over the restoration tree. Normaly i don't mess with restoration much, save to get the Avoid Death perk but this time Ward Absorb caught my eye.
I don't like wards. Yes they can save your ass, especialy against dragons but they are F-ing expensive to cast and maintain. Then I was like wait, Spellbreaker generates a ward...
so I save, take the perk, switch back to the Lord Stone and head off to the nearest wizard infested hole and empty out my magicka reserves.
IT WORKS!
Every spell that hit Spellbreaker made my magicka jump like wolf after a bunny.
Felt like sharing this wonderful discovery and figured the wolf pack would love it.

Well I actually couldn't carry them anyway since i had 369lbs of assorted goods and a 370 capacity

Double back, grab the bones, turn back into a wolf and keep going. You'd be amazed at how much loot you can haul as a werewolf.

I know its an erly level quest but I jsut keep ignoreing it till I was around lvl33. its in my time of need.. the quest to help the redgaurd women either escape or to be captured.. any way I decide to help her cuse Im a hero and she has a pretty face. so Im in the cave and surrounded by redgaurd warriors so instead of drawing my trusty blade I just smile and slip on my prized ring and let out a roar as my body turns. it was a furry of screams as they tried to run away but only to meet the end of my claws or to feel my sharp teeth around their neck. I left one alive long enought to take in the sight of my furry as i stood over his huddled body and let out a loud roar in his face just befor I pind him to the stone floor and tore open his chest...a good night and lots to eat..my belly was full.. after I left the cave I ran threw the wood on all fours feeling the night air on my fur.. I even hunted down a few deer and a lone bandit..

Was out hunting earlier and bumped into a thalmor patrol, took out the mage first before he knew what hit him and just began attacking the other two when a pair of trolls came running out of nowhere and helped me kill the thalmor, after feeding they didn't even attack me and just wandered off, is that normal? I know that frost trolls have attacked me before but I don't think i've ever been attacked by a regular one, has that ever happened to anyone else?

Yes that is normal, as far as I know no one knows why they aren't hostile to the player in beast form. I can only guess it much like wolves, maybe they respect the presence of a higher-in-the-food-chain creature running around.

I'm back guys, and ready for this challenge! It seems that our new prey are rallying. They seem focused on the Dawnguard, but we will be hunting from the shadows.

I find that I spend a lot of " werewolf time " just roaming the woods around Falkreath and Rifton. I'm not even really out hunting, just roaming but I will kill any that cross my path, but mostly I'm roaming and enjoying the walk
Your a braver wolf then I my friend, there's NO WAY IN HELL!! That I would change inside a fort, let alone a cave  I need a lot of room to move and circle my prey, I can plant my feet and tank what's in front of me but I try my best not to get into those situations

Shall we stalk our new prey?

Too little, too late. We've been planing and sharing knowledge for at least a month now, they got 7 day's ( for those on Xbox ) to come up with a strategy
No worries fellow pack brothers, we shall feast on vampire lord soon enough  and maybe the Dawnguard :shifty:

edit : Has anyone else poked their noses in to see? It's freaking funny, all their doing is demanding that everyone else bend to their will and are bickering over territory

They'll probably kill each other before they reach us with that attitude  Let the Vampire Lords tear each other to pieces while we unite and control Skyrim :drag:

By the way, I have tried the trolls-being-friendly-to-werewolves trick a few times now, but they always start attacking me. Although I've got to admit that last time I made him fly once, and he immediately went out of my way and gave me space. ^^ Felt very good, like I had made clear I was higher in hierarchy or something lol.

Quick question. Vampire lord with powerful magic, or glorified wolf. Who would win?

Yes, because the footage we have seen of the vampire lords DEFINITELY looks like Edward
I do like how you avoided giving an answer though
