Calling Card

Do you assassins have a calling card?

In every one of my victims I leave in their pockets Nightshade.

What is yours?

My assassin is a mass killer; i probably can't find enough nightshade to put next to them. Perhaps some vegetables will do.

A slit throat :P One game I played through I would leave an iron dagger when ever i'd assassinate them. I had so many from training blacksmith and never sold them lol. This play through I'm going to be using this mod. Dark Brotherhood Calling Card: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12422

Closest I've come to doing this is with the Thalmor. When I wipe out their keep, I leave one of their assassination notes on a body near the front door. Then I go wipe out their embassy (second time) and do the same. If I think of it, I'll drop one of these notes at Elenwen's feet at the peace negotiations. Sort of a "just so you'll know for damned certain it's me" card.

I wish there were a dialog option at the peace treaty council to say to Elenwen, "Could you send more hit squads? I do love selling their armor. And give them more gold. I mean, seriously, do they work for the prestige of having me kill them?"

My thief used to leave apples in place of stolen objects (like guild trophies).
My current assassin leaves a coin at the scene (used to do that in one of the Hitman games all the time, Contracts or Blood Money I think).

Thanks.

And Eon is not a mass murder, he's sort of cloak and dagger only kills when he needs. And he's gentlemany polite.

A single ebony arrow, but if they pissed me off or if I'm feeling extra evil I'll leave the soul gem that contains their soul in their pocket

Well I haven't played an assasin in Skyrim yet, but I have however played a thief. I have added a couple of mods to make thievery more difficult so when I score a big heist I leave a Red Mountain Flower in the place of the stolen item.

It isnt a mod. We are discussing what people leave as their "calling cards". You could easily decide to be an assasin and leave nightshade on the chest of all your victims or whatever. Just go farm up a bunch of whatever and leave them on or near the bodies of your hits.

I literally picked all the Nightshade from Solitude, around the DB entrance, and then from the Alchemist shop. Does it regenerate and come back?

I think it's a 30 day wait for stuff out in the wild, and a 10 day wait for stuff with in a city. But to be safe I just wait 30 days in a tavern or my home.
