Can U create a good looking female elf?

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 7:39 am

Why making another thread on this? We had the same thread just a few days ago, but oh well, let's continue here...
This is what I came up with my Bosmer female character:

If she looks a little bit deformed, that's because of the stupid 3rd person camera positioning combined with fov warping.
I think Elves in Skyrim are just fine, they fit perfectly to the rough and gritty world that is Skyrim.

She looks amazing.

Yeah, that's a cool elf. I hear you about the positioning and warping though. Someone at Bethesda needs to fix it. Or get punched in the arm. Or maybe get their arm twisted... so they'll fix it.

Anyways..

Is this even possible without mods? Most of the Elves I see look more like trees than they do like Elara?
you cant make a elf that sixy without mods...no matter how much you tweak their face, you cant get rid of those dumb forehead lumps

I hate Skyrim's character creation with the burning passion of a thousand suns. I need sliders! I hate http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/8058/screenshot4gr.jpg.

People are never going to accept the fact that TES elves are not beautiful little humans with amazing bodies and pointy ears are they?

Nice elf but the OP asked for a sixy elf WITHOUT MODS...he's playing on xbox like me, we actually have to be creative to create a elf thats not hideous because we have no sixy mods to make skin shine and boobs big ;)

So much this. People have a problem with the way elves look in this game because they can't get past what looks good to their human eyes, in a human form.

Human look boring. Humans with pointy ears just look stupid.

Hehe, thanks. Took some time to perfect. About an hour at the beginning of the game, then I made some very minor cosmetic changes throughout playing the game under different lighting conditions.

There are no mods involved in these pictures. I only increased saturation through graphic drivers but I presume you can do something similar with modern TVs too.
The skin might be actually a little bit bumpier due to a certain mod (and 2560x1600 resolution), but in terms of attractiveness that actually makes her look worse I guess (:
Never played the console version but if the character creation process is the same as in the PC version, than you can create exactly the same face.

Huh, I think she actually looks fairly good. That's the problem with looks, I suppose - it's a very subjective thing. One person's good-looking female elf would be another's ugly one, and vice-versa.

I wonder if elves mod your characters? To make them look "Pretty".

It IS very possible to make decent looking elf without mods, here are some of my Dunmers: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d93/evenstar15/thief2.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d93/evenstar15/thief.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d93/evenstar15/riven2.jpg
Well, the only mod I'm using is No More Blocky face, but that's not really beautifying anything really.

I tried out Coverwomen mod with this very same character, but then I still prefer vanilla look: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d93/evenstar15/newmod.jpg << looks too fake/plastic for my taste.

It is difficult to make a good looking Altmer in Skyrim, but possible. It is very difficult to do it with a Bosmer, but still within the realm of possibility. It is just impossible to make a good looking Dunmer though, with those mushroom-shaped heads and neanderthal brow ridges. On the other hand, it is very easy to make an attractive human. I think there is some serious elf hate going on with the developers.

I think so too, but I wonder when it began. I mean, they made a whole game based off of elves. Besides that, it's kind of strange to hate on your own creations.

I didn't really see a lot of elf hate in *general* until WoW came out, and so many people were annoyed by Night Elves. Maybe the devs adopted this mindset. They should stop it though.

I can make a very attractive Altmer female, but I can't get into the game unless I am playing as a male, and my main character has to be a Nord

Ever since LotR movies came out I developed some serious hate and resentment over elven race. Every single elf in those movies I had the urge to murder in most cruel manner. Though Thalmor in Skyrim don't really help that, other elven races I actually like. The way they're visually made gives them, in my opinion, more personality. They really look like they wandered to Skyrim from the harsh volcanic land of Morrowind. I also like the voice acting. I've been walking Skyrim through and looking for a partner for a marriage for more than 200 hours and figured I'd probably go with some dark elf after all, hehe. which brings me to an unsettling matter - where the hell is Karliah? I finished the guild quest line but still can't find her in Nightingale hall or anywhere else :(

I think Jenassa is one of the best looking dark elves, personally. It could be the hair. Maybe it offsets the "mushroom head" look? She has yellow facepaint too, that kind of covers some of the wrinkles.

Jenassa is indeed cool but if it is possible I'd go with Karliah (but I guess that option isn't there). I adore her voice and she's got pretty epic background story too. She's not the best looking yet still she's by far my most favorite character in Skyrim. The only problem with her was that I only saw her in her hood, which magically shaves it's owners hair, so they have humongous forehead :D Maybe without it, she's got some crazy punk hair... or is she bald? (:

That's actually quite decent looking for a Bosmer character.

Ooooh she's lovely

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/Sylph_14/Vesper2.jpg (except for a mod that fixed the blocky texture) The clothes look really weird in that shot though.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/Sylph_14/clothes.jpg

Lol, only problem with that is that she's an Altmer. She's not hideous but I would prefer her to have softer features, especially her mouth and the ears look as if they're poured from concrete.

So, am I the only one who thinks that TES elves are attractive in direct proportion to their alien-ness? Like Sarielle's Bosmer. Awesome eyes. Not a bit human. And I like just about all the Dunmer I've seen, and I mean the pure vanilla ones. I even think the Orc girls are cute.

I just wish I could give them all a bath. Dirt should have been optional, like warpaint. I pretend it's freckles.

For me it's the Breton females that I can't make look attractive enough. I do wish that with Bosmers though, there was an option for human looking eyes.
