That's very strange... unless you had done something to your ini files, which would've been easy to fix, by deleting them and letting the game generate new ones. But, you got it working, you're enjoying your game so, all is good

I totally agree with the strangeness. At the time I was playing and this happened to me I had no .ini tweak, console tweaks or mods and I'd played absolutely flawlessly up until I ran into that particular wall (that's over 500 hours of game play with no issues, yes, yes I AM a Skyrim addict). I can only guess what went wrong because the usual fixes didn't work for me; it could've been something unrelated to Skyrim that messed up my game files (I'm thinking antiviral software monkeying with stuff while an autosave or load in-game was happening, but that's a longshot). Now the only issue I've had since I downloaded the High Res Textures packs is one log table in Riften is purple and that's it! (posted that in the Unofficial Buglist thread with a screeny). Cheers!

Well thanks for the help guys FINALLY got it to work today . I went to steam deleted my local content and uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now it's working perfectly fine NO MORE INFINITE LOAD TIMES

Glad you got it working in the end. Now you can once more, leave behind your wife, your mother in law, your dog, your bills, etc.

I have had to reinstall Skyrim 4 times since release....lost 3 characters.....2 driver swaps.....and an arrow to the knee.....
