Anybody knows how to get fortify smithing potions?

You have got to use the useless Labs. :biggrin:

Not all items can be upgraded to Legendary.

this brings up one of my complaints with the game, which is artifacts being outclassed by handcrafted daedric weapons.

But honestly most character builds get so powerful at the end stages, what's a few points here and there.
