can we PLEASE get a DLC announcement...

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:47 pm

i'm sorry but this is just getting to be frustrating. i mean you guys said xbox would get DLC before everyone else a month after release. well, here we are, what, 3 months almost 4 after release and not a single dlc whisper? i don't get it. just at least tell us what you're working on, it's not that big of a deal for you to just tell us...we're your fans we want some new content..

Patches, fixes? Fixing patches? Surely more important than rushing dlc?

Source? Where did they say this?

They said Xbox would get the DLC a month before the PC and PS3, thats it.

I agree let them sort the bugs and glitches before we have any DLC

you all apparently don't realize they have an entire team of 80 or so people on the Bethesda team working on skyrim, it doesn't take 80 people to fix bugs. they have subteams working 100% of dlc and teams working on patches. they probably even have a team working on tes:vi ideas, and a team working on fallout 4 ideas. spouting off nonsense doesn't make your case true lol.

Some people are lucky. Some people, even after four patches, have a broken game on their hands. This is not spouting off nonsense. This is a statement of fact. Unlike the OP, which contains a falsehood: see DevenTarn's post.

Genuine question : was this thread started to engender a discussion, or merely to complain?

I have a feeling the OP has no idea how to read a comma.

It was never said that you would get DLC a month after release. It was announced that xbox will get it a month before everyone else.

Actually, I don't need new content just yet. Still got a lot to do. The DLC will reveal itself when it's time. Play the game in the meantime or do something else while waiting.

yeah, the fact that i said we'd get it a month after release was me typing a thought incorrectly, sue me? that has nothing to do with the thread lol. they didn't say that, i get it, i typed it wrong. they said a month before ps3/pc. also, stop acting like a self righteous fan-boy like you DON"T want a dlc announcement. who wouldn't want a dlc announcement, rofl. that's just stupid.

Anyway, who releases dlc a month after the game? Subscribers to the EA/Activision/other large publishing corporation method of business practicetm , who get you to pay full retail for 95% of the game, then charge you for the other 5%, which was already made and could have been available with the game on day one.

Then the answer is: when they are ready to reveal it. Is that good enough for you? I can also answer when its going tp be released: when it is done.

And it's only been 3 months. People are not done enjoying the game yet.

I dont think they even know whats going on over there. I think they just randomly make things and vote on what they made then one day enough of them vote yes, they have a cake to celebrate and dlc is announced even though its ready to release. Then they put the dlc on a disc and have that Todd Howard guy sit on it like an egg for 3 months and thats where babies come from. Trustory.

Horse armour? :bonk: Anyway, they have said there won't be small dlcs, just expansions along the lines of Point Lookout, and my own humble opinion is that is something worth waiting for.

No EA releases DLC on release date not just a month afterwards. Mostly stuff that is already included, you just need to pay to make use of it (greedy bstards).

yes they already stated that they were unless Todd is lying (that would NEVER happen) but you can already argue that DLC already has been released and it wasn't first on 360 either.
