I said this in another thread... I don't think Bethesda owes PS3 owners anything per se... but I'm in sales management. When something for one of our customers isn't delivered to their expectations, I go out of my way to make it right. Sometimes that means doing something extra for the customer. The objective is to keep them happy so that they continue to be your customer.
So if I were in charge at Bethesda, PS3 users would get something to engender good will. Even if it was just a small DLC with some special armor & weapons, or even a download that would immediately add 10 levels & perks to help make up for the time they couldn't play, I'd find a way to give them something for their troubles. The fact is, Bethesda released a game that didn't meet the expectations of a large percentage of its customers; good customer-focused companies make that right.
