Didn't vote, too many options.
Should come down to yes, no or maybe/i don't care and then have the users write a post of why they think that way.

So me, I don't know.
Would giving them a half year really do anything?
I mean, they have the game designed already.
Maybe give them a month or two to do some last bug-fixing and stuff but no I'd rather not wait until 2011.

That's weird, I could have sworn most of the ideas here were random gibberish with no regard for the logistics of game design

(I love you all) :tops:

Also, if I'm not playing New Vegas by Oct. 20th, it'll be YOUR FAULT! :swear:

I really want the game now and can barely wait as it is, however I would be okay with pushing it back a little bit.

Luckily they won't. Once a company sets a release date on a title like this, it's set in stone. They will probably finish a bit early, since they probably gave themselves more time than they needed.

Games are notorious for being pushed out too early, and being released with a lot of bugs, rough edges and what have you. A masterpiece takes time and cannot be rushed, and when I get the game I would like to think that they put all they could into it, took their time on it, and polished it up real nice before shipping it out.

If that means it takes longer for me to play it, then so be it. Patience is a virtue and all good things come to those who wait.

Now you know what I think, *puts on detective hat* I think you are a dev in disguise! And you are just testing the water, because you guys wanna mess with us and delay release!! :poke: :bonk:

Joke, seriously though I don't think they will do that with beth breathing down their necks. I voted ''no'' by the way.

I honestly think they shouldn't delay the game too much. The engine is dated as it is. I also think that a delay wont save them- they're not lacking ideas, what they're lacking is a way to fix the buginess/crashiness.

I would be fine with them taking another month or so to iron out bugs.

If it were, like, a reaally-reaally good idea that they needed to delay for... Then I wouldn't mind too much... Otherwise... 10/19/2010 is gonna be a very quiet day on these pages.

Depends on the reason. If they're doing it just out of laziness then no, but if they're doing it on a quality control standpoint then yes.

I don't think I would mind. Last thing we need is another publisher screwing over people by rushing a game.
