I figured ham wouldn't hold dye well, do you get to make icing and lick the bowl clean if theres extra ?

Idea: Take her out for a meal and then go somewhere and bake cakes

I like the flower salad idea, thats awesome. So, were gonna do a picnic, make the food together, including a flower salad, then have it out by the lake in the evening. I think picking the food, making the food, then eating it, then cuddling (i know this is a first date but i've known this girl for 2 years and we have already cuddled once before) should make a pretty nice date.

How well do you know the girl? If its a first date a coffee or dinner is the best way to get to know her, and then you can try something more creative later on imo. If you know small things she likes try those. I went out with a girl for awhile who really liked to go pick out movies at blockbuster and watch them after, so we went to her favorite sushi place, then walked around her favorite area and rented the movie.

My first date was sitting on my bed and kissing. So it's not like I have creative ideas.

Probably the best "date" (I hate the term) I had with my fiance was either dancing to live music at night at the docks or going on a boatride down the river. I usually just like things where we can enjoy nature. Or a metal concert.

My very first date was 12, sitting in a garden and talking. She was 14: big girl. My second was more serious. Watching Bruce Lee "the furour of the dragon" in an open air cinema in Djibouti. She was 15 and I was 13. It was much more serious and to cut the story short, it was my first non-autosixual experience.

For the flower, be sure not to take poisoned one. It might be disastrous.

Then just pop on your favorite website that has TV shows and movies, and snuggle on the bed while watching the show/movie. It is a favorite of mine for many reasons. One, it's free. Two, you're already on a bed for when things get steamy. Three, it's free.

So, I'm taking a girl out on a date, and I refuse to do the old beaten up dinner and a movie thing. The only out of the box thing (well, its not too out of the box but its way better than dinner and a movie) is a picnic by the lake in the evening. Its fun and romantic.

So does anyone have any ideas? Also, share your stories.

HAHAHA!!!! My co-worker came to work today and says to me, "Man, I was up till 3am." when asked why he was up till 3am he replied with, "Cause I took this chick to the park last night and we had six on a blanket in the middle of the park all night."

That sounds a bit too brave for a date in my opinion. You could have as easily said: "Just get naked already."

Picnic by a waterbody?

Bring some bug spray. Then again, nothing says :wub: like a smack across the face to get that mosquito!

Also, with the summer winding down, the yeallow jackets are switching to sugars and meats. An epi-pen might be useful as well. Nothing says I love you like saving someone's life! (or jabbing them with a pointy object)
