Custom-made Amulet of Kynareth for my gf

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 4:30 am

Yeah that sounds like a great idea, put out a competition daring a couple to name their child after one of your IPs then sue them for doing it

Couple "So we named our kid Dovahkin, what do we win?"

Bethesda "A lawsuit"

LOL! Ok, I hadn't heard that it was an invitation, I misremembered it as being just their own choice. Whatever ;-)

Haha, I can see it now. First they lose in court for having given consent, then they get countersued and lose that too. Money drain! Their lawyers would know better though.

Maybe their lawyer team could double as the 'gold sink' designers in TES6?

That actually looks amazing! I'm still planning on proposing to my future girlfriend with an Amulet of Mara, just for fun

Edit: About the whole copyright issue: it's not being sold, so there's no issue whatsoever.

I hate nit picking, but the gem or whatever in the centre should be less wide and should be a bit taller. Besides that, it seems spot on to me. Both in game and in the pic, it's quite a beauty. I wouldn't mind me an Amulet of Talos.

Some might call it junk, but I'm sure she calls it treasure :)

No seriously, well done. Very well.

Well ya know, I've actually tried that several times, and I can't for the @#$%ing life of me figure out how to get it to work. Guess I'm chat-challenged, that's all there is to it.

Well can you really blame him? After all, we're in a material world.

My gf really liked the Amulet of Kynareth in the game, so I found a guy who would make it for her. So she got her custom-made Amulet of Kynareth. Think it looks much better in reality :-)

Made of silver, with a turquoise gemstone...

Have you noticed a 10 point increase in your girlfriend's "stamina"?

What a thoughtful, romantic thing you have done! I am sure she will treasure it forever. She is a lucky girl to have such a sweet friend.

That is very nice OP, could be a little weird if she wasnt into the Elder Scrolls but a lovely gesture none the less.
What about Scrolls?

Scrolls is a game that will be sold and make lots of money in profit.

This is a one-off replica by a fan of the series.

Apples and oranges. I doubt suing someone for making a single Kyraneth pendant would raise enough money to even cover the lawsuit.

Very nice job there, and a lovely gesture too. My sister's fella does a bit of smithing, and I've wondered many times, when seeing the various objects on the load-screens, how easy/difficult it would be for him to cast something like that.
