Custom-made Amulet of Kynareth for my gf

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 8:14 am

My gf really liked the Amulet of Kynareth in the game, so I found a guy who would make it for her. So she got her custom-made Amulet of Kynareth. Think it looks much better in reality :-)

Made of silver, with a turquoise gemstone...

Oh, man. Who says romance is dead. Beautiful piece of work, that. Something like that could really help a guy's, um.... '+luck' stat, I suspect. :tops: :celebration:

Awesome! Now I want one too!

But I admit, my first thought was: wut? you should have given her the amulet of Mara!

That is freaking awesome. Well done.

Be careful bethesda might sue you.
lol
They would sue the guy that made it, not the purchaser (most likely). He's the one who made money selling a copyrighted IP.

I think it is, actually. lol oh well.

You. Would. Be. Surprised. IP holders sue at a pindrop these days, since violations are so common. If you don't sue, you basically give people permission to run amock with your IP. It's worse not to.

Then they need to sue that first couple to name their kid 'Dovakhiin', I reckon. At any rate, as long as it doesn't turn into some big production thing where you see it on QVC going for $99.95 a pop, I don't think ya got much to be worried about.

It's true that a minimal, single time thing isn't likely to catch attention. Also, the Dohvakiin parents were doing so at Bethesda's invitation, mind you.

That is very nice OP, could be a little weird if she wasnt into the Elder Scrolls but a lovely gesture none the less.

Oh come on guys. Surely Bethesda have better things to do than worry about this.

What about Scrolls?

Awesome! Now I want one too!

Yeah that could be a little risky as it could give off the wrong signal.

Yeah that sounds like a great idea, put out a competition daring a couple to name their child after one of your IPs then sue them for doing it

Couple "So we named our kid Dovahkin, what do we win?"

Bethesda "A lawsuit"

Haha, I can see it now. First they lose in court for having given consent, then they get countersued and lose that too. Money drain! Their lawyers would know better though.
