anyway, im not necissarily saying that items arent powerful enough, but they just need cooler effects. yes its nice to have a strong ward for spellbreaker, but thats not really a cool effect. Also, all melee weapons should have unlimited charge
How is it not a cool effect?
The Artifacts should not outclass the work of incredibly skilled smiths and enchanters. Otherwise, what's the point in investing in smithing/enchanting?
Daedric Artifacts are legendary items often routed in the lore and history of Tamriel. Most are symbols of devotion. Just as a Christian might carry a cross, a champion of Meridia might wield the Dawnbreaker purely to show where their alliegance lies. When it comes to gameplay, most of the Daedric Artifacts
are extremely powerful compared to other found/gifted items. All of them are unique, with interesting enchantments too.
