Daedric Quests are the svck.

Morrowind's involved hard work and actual searching for objectives. The daedric lords were authorative and usually spoke with a voice & attitude worthy of your attention. You could make some nice enchantments in MW, but at least you didn't feel like your pile of artifacts came from a yard sale.
What was Peryite... a ghostly rat? I thought I saw one while he babbled to me. Hircine's a ghost deer. Most of what these lords have been reduced to is pretty laughable.

You didn't see Peryite. A sickly green mist appeared when you lit the altar and there were a bunch of ghostly rats scurring about in the blur. The infected ones that you had to kill spewing green goo were amusing. I think it was an improvement over the Oblivion quest which was basically just a run around yet another red-sky Oblivion realm killing daedra.

Hircine the ghostly deer was just lame!

I did play Morrowind after Oblivion and did all the daedric quests, but for some reason I can only remember a couple of them. There was one rebuilding a statue which was a long, boring hunt for random items, and another was killing some npc. The Azura shrine was memorable though.

The daeric quest I have done had plenty of twist and was better than the ones in Oblivion.

That's down to personal opinion, I found Skyrim's Daedric quests ranged from 'Ridiculous' to 'Average'. I mean, what is the point of them exactly? Because I can craft better weapons and armour than the divines reward me, which eventually makes them obsolete. That important little detail needs addressing in the next game.

For me personally, it removes the achievement aspect and makes those quests completely pointless. Especially if you complete them at later levels, like I did.

Even worse, they changed his voice from the badass Bloodmoon and Oblivion voice, to the male elf voice in Oblivion. :sadvaultboy:

Seems like there is no pleasing a lot of forumers. If it isn't Morrowind then it svcks cow balls. Personally I thought they were way better than Oblivion's or Morrowind's Deadric quests.

Eh, I think everyone's overreacting a little bit here, but quests aren't quite as good as they were in OB and MW in Skyrim. Not a deal-breaker, Skyrim's still amazing and has a ridiculous amount of content, but it's just not jaw-dropping awesome content as much as we're used to.

I will say, however, that you'r on drugs if you think Daedric quests in Skyim > Oblivion of Morrowind's. They're all just little fetch quests with nicer rewards. Go around finding ingredients or hunting a bandit, do the one little task (usually with a little cool thing involved, like some dead body being possessed by a Daedra) then finish the quest, get the reward. Hermaus Mora's, however, was the best quest out of every Elder Scrolls game, so maybe that makes up for it.

Oblivion's Daedric quests were amazing. Turning those peaceful villagers against one-another was interesting, that crazy wizard's tower for Vaermina was absolutely awesome, etc. Morrowind's were quite fun as well.

I didn't think the Periyite quest was too bad. But only because the final boss was really difficult for me to destroy. Until I found out using weapons instead of magic against him killed him like he was a mudcrab.

I guess most of the ones I've played were ok or eh. Azura's Star was ok, Mehrunes Dagon was cool just because it was Mehrunes Dagon, Periyites was ok, Boethiah's was.... eh., and Sheogorath's was eh.

Comparing the Skyrim Deadric quests to the Oblivion ones, I think the Skyrim ones win. In Oblivion you would walk up to one of the many shrines in and talk to the Prince or get rejected becuase you were to low a level. My first playthrough of Skyrim Ihad no idea how to start any of the deadric quests because almost none of them had any shrines, or they were very well hidden.

2. becoming a Silencer(a personal assassin of a member of the Black Hand) makes the player truely feel he is climbing the ranks of the orginzation....this is not so in Skyrim.

You mean you didn't feel like you were climbing the ranks by going from initiate to Listener in a day? Or walk-in scrub to Companion's Leader in a couple of days? Or basic spells to Arch Mage in a couple of quests?
