let's talk about something different again, like, how many Elder Scrolls games have you played?
This is my list:
Arena: not finnished yet, half way through
Morrowind: own but not played
Oblivion
and of course Skyrim.
You have not played Morrowind?! You are missing out

I bet they select 50 people

Nah, too small. They need more people to be efficient.

As hard as I try to roleplay a benevolent character, I always end up evil or chaotic. I made a paladin, destroyed the dark brotherhood, constantly denied the Thieve's Guild. Yet, whenever I was told to take an imperial fort I cackled IRL at the thought of the vicious slaughter that would ensue.

Beta or not, I cannot wait to end the tyranny of the Sun. I cannot even fathom the horrible, unspeakable things I will do to Tamriel.

anyone recieved invite yet?
You would know when someone got an invite because you'd see a thread labeled "OMGOMGOMGOMG I gotz the BETAZ LAWLZ!!!!" or something like that (Look for something that a 7 year old child would post, you know because if you win a lottery or something your brain has to lose its age to fill in the the sudden rush of adrenaline).

Does anyone have the feeling that since Bethesda didn't require an exact Gamer Tag, just an Email, that some Xbox bashers will sign up so they might steal a code just to be a hater?
Bethesda doesn't really have an all knowing knowledge of who their Xbox users Emails are. Quick question, does your Xbox Email have to be the same as your forums Email? Because that would change the question.

Seriously? Clearly they don't care about bugs otherwise Skyrim would've been 100% perfect!!

Haha, just joking. I'm already setting myself for a gentle let down by assuming only 50 people are getting in.... :P

Well, technically I started on Morrowind, but didn't sink too many hours into it. I remember my roommate played Morrowind for 2 weeks straight with hardly any breaks (just sleep and occasionally eating). I would ask if he wanted to go out to the bon fire for him to shrug it off as he played lol. The day he stopped was quite funny as his eyes hit the new sunlight. He looked like a vampire seeing the light for the first time.

I also sunk a little over 300 hours into Oblivion and over 300 hours into Skyrim (so far).

i think the perfect expansion for them to make would be to unlock another land/previous land that you can go back to, like morrowind or cyrodil. i understand that it would take alot but iff they were to make it to where we could go to ALL the other lands..oh man...id prob die from playing too much lol

thats kinda what I might get TES online for, just to travel around and see all the lands, but I agree, they need some of these lands, we need a few DLC's with a warm atmosphere. or one BIG one.

I was introduced to TES at Oblivion. I really wish I had played Morrowind and some of the earlier games, but, I just can't get myself to go back and play them. I try to read the UESP's lore pages to make up for it, though.

I played Oblivion right up to the Skyrim release. And, have been playing Skyrim since, of course (Only taking short breaks to play minecraft and The Darkness)

agreed, skyrim will know eternal darkness, and then eternal fear. They will tremble everytime a shadow moves, they will scream everytime the wind blows, and they will die...evertime i get hungry

Too bad you cant visit other factions provinces/lands in TES:O
You need to create a new character to just see summerset isle, valenwood and elsweyr :( Cant visit it if you are a member of ebonheart pact or daggerfall covenant and so on

if they were going to make the list that small they probably would have gone for professional testers. Im pretty sure this beta is more of a free thank you gift to xbox players rather than a full flown beta.

Seriously there has been a huge increase in the number of new members. The amount of people who have joined after the beta was announced is very high. Have you seen the amount of stupid new threads asking about the beta. There are thousands of new members on the forums. Not all of them have made any posts though. This thread is an example. On this page almost everyone who posted joined after the beta was announced.

That's true and not true at the same time, I had a previous account on the forums until I lost access to that email address. So when the beta sign up rolled round I had to make a new account :S

If I get access to the beta I'll be in seventh heaven.
If not, wait those two weeks and train a third character.
There are no bad options always win.
