To be fair, the VAST majority of applicants were denied and should not take it personally.

Yeah I don't think a support group for the 99.5% that didn't get chosen is really necessary.

I still think that most of the people in the beta are going to hate it...

We had talked in the thread, I think roughly #23 or so, about having a support group as a joke. So I did it.

I think a support group is a great idea. I need all the comfort, empathy and sympathy I can get.

*sobs*

I...I just couldn't help it...I'd sit there for minutes on end just...just refreshing! Oh God the horror! My life has taken a turn for the worse! :sadvaultboy:

It's pretty harsh that only 0.5% of the people got accepted. They should have a closed beta instead of just giving the codes to 0.5%. It's almost impossible to win the code... I'm still in denial.... :sadvaultboy:

I guess it didn't help that Beth advertised this across the world and laymen all the way from Pluto came here. Of course now that they didn't get in(along with most of us) many of them are cashing out. If only a few hundred joined, I could see a number like 3.5% of us getting in.

They are having a closed beta...

And imagine how many people must have applied. 360 has roughly 4-7 million people playing Skyrim on it. Even if 10% of those applied, that's like 500,000 people. You cannot hold an organized closed beta with 500,000 people. So they pick a few thousand. That's far more helpful for them.

How do we even know if we got it? I couldn't even figure out when Bethesda was going to tell people until today.

If you got an email with a code, you're in. Otherwise, you have to wait until the 26th.

I'm not disappointed about not winning, I'm just disappointed I wasted my time for a week reading about the beta thread then have my dreams shattered at the last second with US only.

Can we stop with these stupid memes? They've been posted, reposted and there are 150 copies of that. Some people wanted to legitimately help rather than play. Me personally, I would have loved to say that I helped made Dawnguard great. Doesn't make me feel good when you have people posting images to svck it up.

Note: If you didn't get into the Beta don't fret. The Beta testers are not playing it just for early access (some are, but a lot are not) they are reporting bugs, going through different scenarios to find bugs, and most importantly they are making sure the release will be more stable for the public. It isn't an easy breeze, if you are in the Beta you must do your best to help those who will be playing it in two weeks.

I'm not sad I'm not in the beta. My game is already kind of buggy. A beta would've made it worse.

To be fair, I accidentaly started all that, and I will take the blame for it.

I know a lot of people would have tested, but there is also a lot of people would wouldn't and probably aren't.
