A moderator said it and so did majority of forum, also from the people who said they won none of them were international. Although I could be totally wrong and its just chance that it was only US people selected.
that's outrageous, now i'm for the first time angry

where is the evidence that we were left out?
Where is the evidence that we were not?
Everyone who's got a code so far on these forums has been form the US. If you can show me just one international player who has a code then I'll think no more on the matter.

Is anyone willing to help me out? Let's say theoretically I was accepted into the beta. What would be the steps, theoretically, to either start the expansion in the game (assuming it's been downloaded and appears on the main menu) or to find the forum discussing this beta? Or, still assuming that I was actually invited to the beta, am I just going to have to wait until the expansion is officially released to get some help? Theoretically I still would appreciate getting it for free, but it would be very frustrating.

I sent you a lil helper message

thats true I suppouse but they COULD have gone a better rout and said only 0.5% were going to make it in, in the first place.
They couldn't Tell you that only 0.5% of the people who entered would get in because they didn't know how many people were going to enter the beta. If less people entered, then obviously the percentage chance of you getting in would be higher, however, because such a high number of people entered, which they wouldn't know would happen, the chance of you getting in drastically decreased, as they wouldn't want to give too many people a free copy of Dawnguard, because after all Bethesda do need to make money from it :P

Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm typing it on my iPod and it is painful, lol.

How about a support group for the poor PC and PS3 gamers who have to wait even longer for Dawnguard?

That's a good point, but if you're arguing from the other side you could always say "Why didnt they tell us that they only needed X amount of testers?"

However it may of been just false rumours, although I am yet to see an international player who has won the beta. Not to mention the devs didn't deny these rumours.

You guys do know that if everything goes well, which we all hope it does, it will be out by the 26th, right? Although this is highly unlikely, they also said that if they find no bugs, they'll make it available to everyone. Though the definition of everyone in this case is probably 360 users (like myself), it could also be PS3 & PC. If they find a high amount of bugs, it'll probably be delayed.

i figured it might be a 1/8 chance to get into the beta not a 1/200 chance. That svcks for all of us. Dawnguard comes out 2 weeks from today.
Again, how many people did you think they would pick? And how many people do you think applied? As far as I know, a fair chunk of the ~5 million 360 users knew about this, so I would assume that hundreds of thousands applied, easily. And they can't run a constructive closed beta with too many people.

Yea but how many of those players also have a forum account and knew about the beta sign-up and were also old enough.

*sobs*

There was the hype-train. Does anybody remember it? It moved like lightning, and everybody inside was whooping and cheering as it got closer and closer to the tunnel. When there was a block just inside the tunnel, they all got thrown from their seats and disappointment reaped a blood toll on the excited gamers.

I was standing on the top of the hype-train, screaming and dancing. So when the tunnel came it took my head clean off instead of just throwing me from my seat. *sobs*

And the worst part is, that final 25% got the whole train started again! My decapitated body still danced wildly on top of the broken wreckage of the original hype-train, even as the second train ran me over and splattered my enthusiasm across the tracks of despair.

Anybody else want to join in with making sorrowful metaphors describing their predicament?

Was that just from their attitude, or were people actually barred from entry once they realised they were twelve years old?

Possibly, if they left their real age on their forum account. But depends on who's e-mail it was, possibly advlt authorisation.

And people shouldnt be so sad and dissapointed. Its a beta

Ya its a beta but if all the testers reply positivly to the beta then they get it free. thats 20 bucks they can use towards the next dlc.
