Everyone should get a full, fair chance. and besides, they'd say if being on the forums a lot is a factor in getting chosen

I remember a comment someone made in the last couple of weeks re:, I think, an E3 interview in which Todd brushed off the idea that new forum members would be considered for the beta.

Does anyone know wheher that's true or not?

just to clarify, I didn't mean us when I was talking about new people that won't beta test, I mean quite literally the people who made an account and never posted.

Gotcha. I took no offense.

Not necessarily...
If forum activity was a factor, There'd be like 10 codes sent, 90% of the entries are probably people who didn't have an account before and made one for this. So what you're saying is that a nice person who would test and be active in the beta thread, reporting bugs and such, shouldn't be picked because he doesn't have many posts?

The speed of this thread impresses, frightens, excites and saddens me all at once.

Woo! I signed up for the beta days ago and just now got to see this whole 'have to be a forum user' thing. Oh well.

seeing as the betas closed now, you might be in a spot of trouble.

Do you think Bethesda will accept bribes for picking me as a beta tester?

With everybody getting this hyped up and wanted this BADLY to get into the beta, I am pretty worried for the well being of all those who won't be accepted. It's gonna be pretty catastrophic. People are gonna need counseling. lol.

I'm curious...

Approximately how many threads have been locked now?

This sure has gone too far...

You guys should sit down and play some Skyrim while you wait. It's been working fine for me. Looking through the threads is fun stuff as well.

Anyways, anyone have an answer to that question mentioned above!? (If not, then it is quite fine)

for all we know in the email beta testers might not be allowed to tell us they are beta testers due to the NDA so they could already have the codes ):

Um you know there was a huge community before the beta right? There would be more than 10 code sent. Also I never said that they shouldn't let any new people in, just meant that old people that are active on the forums should be more of a priority since there more likley to beta test.
