well a short beta is better than no beta.
I also think this is the first time they've done a beta like this (excluding 1.6 update, correct me if i'm wrong)

Yeah true its better than none that's for sure, and especially since its 360 Beta exclusive.

I wish they would have just made the beta open to everyone, and just make us pay for the real thing...

Everyone is so determined to get a code, but do half of you actually intend on reporting bugs? i've seen it way to often that people want to get in a beta just to play it sooner than everyone else and they don't care about reporting bugs or any issues in the gameplay. I have been in 8 beta testings and would generally report no less than 10 issues a day. Beta testers shouldn't think that they are there just to play the game and see if they encounter a bug. A good beta tester should go in and try to break the game. When I'm in a beta test, I have a pen and paper beside me at all time to record everything about the bug/glitch/exploit. It's about making something awesome even better. Please, if you get into the beta testing, don't waste all of your time playing the game. Looks for issues, dig for them, do skill/spell combinations that you normally wouldn't do. TRY to break the game and report it.

I plan on using the beta forum to post threads on the bugs i find. I seem to get the worst ones in any game

I thought after you cured your Lychanthropy you had a permanent 100% disease resistance?
That does not sound right. Maybe you are thinking that you have 100% resistance to Lychanthropy

would of been easier.
But I think this would of given people less motivation to actually report or look for bugs
makes sense from a business point of view though

Try to get it as a Bosmer..
Funny that you said this, I happened to contract it with a level 4 Bosmer about 2 hours ago while fighting the first vampires I had seen in that playthrough. Thought it was funny since, you know, being disease resistant and everything.

Also think that this might be my first post on the Bethesda forums.

Nope, once cured of Lycanthroipy you lose any and all buffs from the disease and you can never become a werewolf again. :P Can still contract Sanguinare Vampiris though.

This reminds me of when I was chosen to get into the Halo Reach cloed beta. People were going crazy on the Bungie forums too asking about the codes.

Because the Greymarch ended and it is now only Sheogorath. Jeez, pay attention.
Actually, what happened when the Champion of Cyrodiil ended the Greymarch was separate Sheogorath from Jyggalag. Jyggalag is now wandering oblivion (he actually says so, during the dialogue at the end with him). And the Sheogorath you meet is your PC from Oblivion. He talks about "being there for the whole ordeal", and about Martin as well. So maybe you should pay attention. Jeez.

I totally disagree i have tested many beta's and in my personal opinion the best way to find a bug or glitch is to play it as you normally would but just pay more attention to things around you that you normally wouldn't.

i beta tested gears of war using that technique and the amount of bugs and faults that would just pop up was amazing whereas if i was looking for these things i know for a fact i would never have noticed them so it's better not to force them but to let them flow into your beta.

but i do agree that all those that signed up with no intention of reporting bugs or faults should seriously think again because at the end of a day you still have to pay for the game but with your feedback and knowledge so that you make the game better for those eager fans awaiting it on it's release date where they expect it to be perfect.

Actually, Bethesda said that all beta testers will receive the add-on for free. That's probably why most people signed up for the beta in the first place.

True, but BETA's are meant to test things out and report any encountered bugs.

I Beta tested Halo 3 as well as Halo: Reach, and even with Bungie's final Halo, there wasn't a panicky rush like there is here. lol

^ This. Hell I was still ready to pay for the DLC even if I got into the beta. Granted I read into it and found out about the beta testers get the dlc thing free today but still. >_> My cheif concern is ironing out any bugs that are present.
