Want a chance to play Dawnguard early? Following the success of our PC beta updates, we're excited to announce our Dawnguard Beta for Xbox 360.

Visit http://beta.elderscrolls.com/ to apply. The process should only take a couple minutes, but make sure to fill out all the information accurately. Applicants need a registered account on our official forums and you'll want to make sure your forum email address is updated.

We will be selecting applicants in about a week. Players accepted into the beta will receive an Xbox LIVE code to redeem Dawnguard. The beta is the full version (complete with Xbox LIVE achievements) and those participating will not have to purchase the content.

I doubt it, according to the post the Beta is the DLC in all it's entirety.

I think they just get an update which turns it into the release version

I wonder what kind of bugs the beta for dawnguard is likely to have they must of tested it a little before the deminstration for game breakers but there could be bugs that we won't disscover till 2 months down the line

Probably not, but maybe there will be a patch to download to fix the bugs we are going to report.

I'm assuming we can tell that the code is out when these threads die down, and cease to be made. I mean, there really isn't a need for a post on the beta when the beta is already in progress. Seems like the logical thing to me. At the least not a thread with its whole basis seems to be advertising the Beta. But I could be wrong, the sign-ups are closed and these threads are still around.

I did a similar thing. I've got 2400 points. I had hoped to use it for 2 dlcs, but if the next is the same price I'll have to fork out some more.

It seems people still think this beta is a demo or a free gift. If selected you get the FULL dlc for free ONLY so you can provide Bethesda with the service of finding and reporting any and all of the many bugs this dlc is going to have. You might also be expected to report ASAP if this is for a release day patch.
