Well, as expected, most of us didn't get invited to participate in the beta. What are you now going to do for the next two weeks until it goes live? I may create my "good" vampire to see if I can join the Dawnguard despite being undead. Two weeks should be ample time to accomplish that and have it ready.

I'm going to continue to hope for one tomorrow. And if not, I'll be looking forward to the 26th, by which time I hope to have made a lot more progress with my vampire build. I'm working on a Dunmer Vampire with the Steed sign, using Sneak, Illusion, Heavy Armor, and One Handed, accented by Restoration and Destruction. So far I've finished the Dark Brotherhood and College of Winterhold. Next on my list is to acquire Honeyside, renovate the Thieves Guild, and then complete the Thieves Guild quest line. I'm currently about to hit level 25; I hope to be closer to 35 after doing those things. If I've done all that before Dawnguard comes out, I'll probably do some Daedric quests and/or random exploring. I'd like to put off the Main Quest until after Dawnguard, and I don't plan on doing the Companions quest line since it doesn't suit my character at all.

I can understand choosing a small number of people, but 1/2 of 1%? And after opening it and advertising it to the public? Meh I can't see into bethesdas minds. They gave me good fallout games and elder scrolls, so I guess it's best not to question it :/

At least now you get to hover on over to Gamefaqs and the Wikis and learn all you can about Dawnguard and plan your game out. At least youre not suffering from anything possibly game breaking the next few weeks.

This was a special service that Bethesda did for the fans that will benefit their research... give it up.
