Dawnguard Info and Discussion - Thread #39

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 1:42 pm

There are hundreds of posts in the bug threads. No worries we are reporting bugs even if they are minor.

I would not have 40 hours into it if it wasn't epic.
40 hours is minimal :P

I never had worries about length. As long as the bonuses are good and it has a solid story, I will work it into my Roles and it will be a part of every character I make.

It's fine. If your accounts are on the same Xbox, then the DLC will be on both accounts. It will download to the hard drive on your machine, so every account on that Xbox will have any content purchased by any account on there.

Do most of the selected post on the forums or is it very few, like was suggested by the people that did not get in haha

I am in the company of vampires and I still frequent here. It's nice to see all of your ideas and how they correlate to the actual product. :P

I believe we're not allowed to talk about how many post, and whatnot. However, I can say that we have a very mature and solid group testing, unlike what many who didn't get in assume. ("Oh, I bet everybody who gets in won't even test bugs!") We're actually doing quite well, but that's all I'll say. :)

I hope the beta testers do both story lines (Vampires&Dawnguard) to test all the quests and such, I don't need more bugged up glitchy Skyrim content.

A question for those of you who have played the beta; I'm really not into vampires, I have no interest in them at all (not just Skyrim but any other game, any film, any book etc). So my question is, given that I don't like vampires is there enough non vampire stuff in Dawnguard to interest me?

I definitely feel the same way. I have some really bad memories of vampirism from ES IV oblivion and I plan on not doing anything with them in Dawnguard (except, you know, killing).

Yep.
I'm not bitter or mad or anything like that. A lot of people like vampires and will really enjoy this DLC. I don't expect Bethesda to make DLC just for me. If someone tells me that yeah pretty much 99% vampire related then that's fine, I'll just wait for the next DLC and go back to played Deus Ex:HR in the meantime.

EDIT:

@Descified; Thanks for that. I appreciate you can't give details given we're in the general forum but I'm glad to know that there's more to this DLC
