You are not. It was like an arcade game, heck, it was bigger and better than one

I thin that is correct.
The SI: 30 hours(or so) and 2400MSP
Dawnguard: 20 hours(or so) and 1600MSP(IIRC)

Seems fair to me.

Well, they said 10-20 for the MQ, but apparently there will side quests and the like, so it could be more. And, wasn't SI $30?
They also said the DLC will be bigger than Point Lookout but smaller than SI, so I dunno. We'll see.

IMO you are not just paying for quests and game time. You are paying for a new world, a new experience and a new kind of life inside the game. It's a great expansion no doubt about it :tes:

Shivering isles was only good because of Scottish Sheogorath and had a few good quests, but other then that the only thing it added to Oblivion was a less generic area of the game which it needed more. Personally I'd say dawnguard might be better but we can't really say that yet.

Shivering Isels ran for 30 bucks... and once i got it, i pretty much stayed there. If you were hell bent on it you could pound out the main quest line in ten hours. A waist in my opinion but you could do it none the less.

Dawnguard's MQ is stated by the dev as taking ten to twenty hours if you rush it. With oodles of side quests, things to fight and places to explore. I personaly expect to spend many an hour just finding enough bandits to eat to lvl up my werewolf. and for us xbox owners it'll run 1600 micrsoft points. about twenty dollars US.

playing with only 1 character and only doing the MQ that runs ya about a buck an hour for new content and gameplay on one of our favorite games. I spent more on games in the arcade growing up and i didn't even get to keep them after.

Well it all depends on how big the Soul Cairn is, and whether or not there are enough quests. I just hope Beth gave each side more quests than they did for the other factions.

How can you even say that, you haven't even played it yet. Seriously, what's with people, they see one two minute trailer and some E3 interviews and they assume they know everything about the DLC.

I doubt it'll live up to the Isles, however, there's still plenty of expansions to go! I am looking forward to Dawnguard, even though I'm not a fan of vampires. =/

^ So maybe DG isn't going to be as good as the Isles, so what? I'm sure it will still be great fun, and i'm sure there will be more skyrim DLC to come..

Yes, Dawnguard is about 10-20 hours (I played it). I'm hoping that they will have another 20$ DLC in a few months, September? And then their final DLC will be comparable in scope to that of Shivering Isles, and hopefully that will come out sometime in early 2013. I'm hoping the next (possible) two DLCs will take us to Hircine's Hunting Grounds, the Daedric Realm, and extend the Main Quest and/or Civil War, having the Dragonborn help destroy the Thalmor.

Next DLC... I want to be high king. "You feel it in your blood as well yes? The drive to dominate." ~Parthanax~ "Long has the Stormcrown languished, with no worthy brow to sit apon. We bestow it to you now" ~Greybeards~ We moved heaven and earth to save Skyrim. We deserve to rule it!

Sooo can't wait for DG to come out.. 8 days is to long! Wish i'd gotten picked as a beta tester
