Deadric Arrows?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 3:48 am

At level 54-56, the Fletcher in Solitude offered me one daedric arrow all the time.

However, Niranya (the fence in Windhelm, I mean), offered a lucky combination of 9 daedric arrows, 1 daedric bow of thunderstorms, 1 daedric bow of terrow in one shopping session. I was still level 54 at that point.

So, check out your fences as well as the Fletcher guy.

I have found the availability of buying Ebony and Daedric arrows are completely random.

One character I had could only buy Ebony arrows at level 45 and up, and only 4-10 at a time from Fletcher's and The Drunken Huntsman only. A different character could buy 20-40 at a time at level 32 and up from the same two places.

Weird to say the least...

I'm a 39 and have over 200 Ebony, they are easy to come by. I ran across 12 Daedric arrows in a Dwemer ruin and saved them in a chest at Vindril Hall. I think I may go grab them and try the archer trick at Solitude tomorrow.

If you're going to use the Whiterun guards in Dragonsreach for this, you'll want to take the arrows back if you're going to run the Civil War as a Stormcloak; they get replaced at a certain point in that quest line, so you'll lose the 'seed' arrows if you don't confiscate them ahead of time.

Huh?

I look and he took all my deadric arrows. I can't get them back. I searched the jail and him with no luck. Then I load the save and decide to drop the stolen arrows. But now they all come up as stolen. So all my hours of finding these arrows are gone, it was a waist.

sell them to a fence

buy them back

stolen tag removed.

costs a decent chunk of septim but worth if for those arrows i would bet.

I actually found the forge before I ever saw a Dynamo Core. Now I have around 20 of them. Just haven't been back to the Midden yet.
Have you done the glove and ring part of the Midden yet? That ones pretty cool too.

Yea, I've done that one before on my other character. Pretty cool, I agree! :)

You have to have 100 conjuration to use dynamo cores to make daedric gear btw.

One of the requirements is to have a sigil stone, and you can only get that from the conjuration ritual spell.

Unless you want to go to Oblivion and take one from Mehrunes Dagon yourself

Oh, a sigil stone! Well, I got my smithing up and can craft Daedric gear at the forge, without any strange materials hahahaha (well, if you don't count the daedra heart)
So yea, I am not a mage, I'm a Shadow Warrior lol No conjuration for me, unless it's Sanguine Rose lol

To elaborate: at one point in the Stormcloak quest line you have to sack Whiterun, at which point it will be rendered inaccessible until you do so. After the battle, the guards are replaced by a new set loyal to the Stormcloaks who have a fresh set of equipment, so if you want to get back the arrows you gave to the guards to spam while practicing you have to do so before reaching this point in that quest line.
