2. You never, ever, EVER distribute your games through Steam or make them Steam-enabled

Howzat? Huh? Sounds pretty damn fair to me. Listen, I know you have marketing guys in suits telling you otherwise, but there's a REASON Steam is referred to as "Steam-ing pile of ..." You can fill in the blank, we're all advlts here.

2. You continue distributing games through Steam.

how about a compromise
1.release steamed & unSteamed (using an offline drm) versions
2.everyone buys, happiness grips the forums as all legit fans are included
3 Bethesda makes more monies
