I'm not sure if your able to remarry but I've never tried. I'd look for maybe a YouTube video for more info on that subject. But if not I'd stick with her for the free gold she gives

you can not divorce your spouse exempt at the altar. kill her if you don't want to get married again or, wait until you have multiple houses and send her to the one you got to the least.

I am sorry, but it is a one-shot deal. This is an issue with the marriage system of Skyrim that has plagued the forums since the release.

I'm not sure but I think there are mods for that.

The OP is most likely on a console game, since the Console Commands can easily change this. Therefore. in the Vanilla game of Skyrim...you cannot remarry.

I actually thought her dialog change was quite welcome.

Vanilla game, you can only marry once.
But Divorce is a wonderful name for a Warhammer.

Usually, if the subject has been brought to your attention via a thread on this forum, you can assume that mods are not applicable to the person asking for help.
"there's a mod for that" is probably the single most unhelpful answer that's commonly used on here.
I'm not tying to personally attack you or anything, but now you know for the future. :)

Ha! Probably.
She did stay in my house most of the time. I was just too lazy to get her when I had Lydia with me.

I'm so happy I married my housecarl. We go out on adventures and teabag the corpses of our foes all day! :)

It's a good, working, relationship.

My wife, or the OP's (possibly RL) wife? Because I too, am curious.

Thank you so much for making my night. This made me laugh my ass off

Also, I am actually surprised no one posted anything of the sort but reading the topic post...was anyone else expecting at least one person to reply with: "Please tell me that the topic is about a Skyrim character and not your real life:"

Is it just me or has blatant trolling made me expect the worst (albeit funny) responses in threads like these?

Op's in game wife. He never really mentions it. It's a mystery.
