DLC idea.

I would like Texas to be done again and done right in fallout. A fallout game that shall not be named was based in Texas. Texas in fallout one is described as a big Radioactive dust bowl.

Why does no one like to talk about BoS?
It was a pretty good game, all things considered....
though I didn't actually know it was placed in texas till I read the Wikia.

I would rather it just stay din the tri state area so no Texas is just outside that.Maybe in a future game.

Because of Nevada's placement, Depending on what states you wich to include, it's have to be a quad state area.....
ANd Besides, I've been to Nevada...It takes longer to get to the other side of texas than it does nevada

I do have to agree with your statements on a Fallout Texas. I live in Texas and to tell you the truth: I hate it. Anyways, yes, Chuck Norris would roundhouse kick the nukes and whoever decides to mess with Texas will get a fistful of lead in their face. Also, a giant Deathclaw due to the phrase: Everything's bigger in texas? Hellz to the yeah that would be awesome. Also, How about a radioactive roadrunner or armadillo. The roadrunner would be to quick for you to shoot and the armadillo will grow ten times its size and simply plow you into the ground when it rolls thunderously all over the place.

I too am from Texas...though I live in the central part...we're like our own little country here....:D

Fallout has been in many states.

California
Oregon
Nevada
Illinois
Missouri
Kansas
Texas
Colorado
Virginia

Just to name some. It was also supposed to go to Florida and Alaska so Fallout can take place in any state. (Hawaii might be the only one that might never be in a fallout game)

As for BoS it messes with canon to much. "The game chronicles the adventures of an initiate of the Brotherhood of Steel. Because of numerous inconsistencies with previous Fallout games, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is not considered part of the official Fallout canon, however some of its content could be used as "flavor" material"

Fallout Tactics :D! Fallout tactics covers most of the Midwestern states, the ones listed have locations in them.

I thought it was a horrible game. Compared to Fallout 1 and 2 alone, Tactics svcks. Horribly.

How about Louisiana?

Fallout in New Orleans would be nutty.
All that voodoo and music, burst levys, crocs and catfish that are already massive without the aid of SCIENCE!, amazing architecture and countryside... This would be an amazing setting for Fallout.

Of course this is all off-topic...
As for the Commonwealth... It does deserve it's own game, or used in FO4, but won't make any more appearance than it did in the last game (if at all).

I vote a DLC, or new game entirely, That includes Texas....

Texas would be the BAMF state of the wasteland, you'd get there, and it'd be all pretty and green and normal, and you'd be all,"WHat about the Atomic Bombs that fell from space??"
ANd Texas'd be all, "Oh yeah...heard soemthing about that...TBH, CHuck said he'd take care of it...."
Then you'd be all, "HOLY [censored]!! CUCK NORRIS!!"

and then he would round house kick you to the back of the face and turn you into barbeque, THE END~!

But seriously, a fallout with Texas would be so awesome...I'd love to see what weird critters are living there after the great war....

A mutated armored armadillo :shivers:

I'd be fine with Texas if we got to meet a salesman of propane and propane accessories.

No go. The Commonwealth is all the way on the East Coast. And your idea- no offense- has been brought up so many times it makes my teeth hurt.

... stop creating these DLC threads! Game isn't even released yet and you need to talk about DLCs! It's about 10th thread I see about [censored] DLC! Will someone close that thread? :banghead: If I'll keep banging the wall with my head it won't end up nice, so don't make me do it.

[censored], I thought it's new thread, but still there's too many

I hope I dont have to remind you Original Poster that the Commonwealth is actually The Commonwealth Of Maryland. it would be interesting to see the politcal structure of this so-called state, but pleased be reminded that this will take place primarily in Vegas, a city, and the desert area around it. being able to go to a coastal town half across a continent would require quite some engineering, as well as missing several games worth of Material.

i would like to note that it would seem interesting to me if they had a DLC which allowed you to fully see all of Vegas, from every room, every house, all the loot, locations, and just mass of this DLC would really have been useful in DLC, but if they dont have it already in the game, it would be quite amazing to be able to go really anywhere in Vegas without the INACCESIBLE sign shhowing its ugly face to me. it would really make this game, at least one DLC dedicated to Urban Vegas, and then 2 more, one for equipment, and one for the people, then focus on the land outside of Vegas...

Thats my Opinion..

But Ryan's on the Border...so can you really blame him for wanting to walk an extra 5 feet to be in awesomeness

ontopic: Hey, get an early start, and you can see more of what you like in the game...

GOD!! That's worse than all the CHuck Norris jokes I get when I go outta state...KOTH isn't even GOOD!

But I digress, I suppose as a pop culture easter egg it would be well placed...

But Texas could have like 2-3 games all it's own because it's so Huge, and Mexico is just RIGHT THERE!

Does anyone out there have a link to this? I dug through NMA and couldn't find anything closer than concept art of all the critters that actually ended up in the game.
100 xp and a case of Buffout to the first person who can PM me a link.
