DLC Not 30 Days Exclusive Anymore? : V - Skyrim

What about mounted combat? Sorry for the confusion, i'm just going by what the game director said. He specifically mentioned PC and Xbox. Weird that he didn't include PS3...

It is being added in patch 1.6. I don't know why he didn't mention PS3, but I can't imagine them not releasing a patch for one of the platforms.

He could have said 30 days after Xbox.

He could have said that but its just better to say they dont know because anything can happen between now and then. There is still 1.6 and the Dawnguard beta to wait for.

At the end of the G4TV showing, Morgan asked Todd when Dawnguard would launch on the other platforms and he said he had "no idea".

Also, when asked about mounted combat he said it's available on PC now and coming to "Xbox soon". He didn't mention it coming to PS3.

What in the world is going on?

Todd doesn't like the Ps3. He really doesn't.

There was a time when I would have thought this silly gamer conspiracy theory stuff, but he wouldn't even say "PS3" when saying what it would be coming out on.

I know that obviously it is, but he can't/won't/doesn't want to use three seconds of extra breath to say PS3?
It kind of does seem like he's sending a message.

July 31st is what I'm guessing 4 weeks from the 26 is not 30 days and dlc always comes out on Tuesday hopefully it comes out by then

Then why didn't he say that? He said "June 26th for Xbox" and "no idea" for PC/PS3...

Maybe he was just put on the spot and didn't know the exact date roughly 30 days later.

Considering he kept saying they wanted to "give back to the fans that supported them", it is quite bizarre.

Something's going on. But the thing that really makes me think we will be getting the DLC in September is the fact that the leaked magazine pictures said specifically that we wouldn't be getting it in the summer.

Between the fact that someone obviously forced them to release on 11.11.11 when they should have delayed it, and this whole deal with Microsoft. They have a corrupt money hungry person somewhere up top.

Also I'm not trusting a 'leaked picture that said not this summer'. As far as we know it's a one month timed exclusive and I'm sticking with that until we get solid proof, as should everyone else.

For me, the whole appeal of this coming out in the summer would be that I could play through it thoroughly and in the matter of a few days. If PC and PS3 don't get it until September, well... "I am dissapoint."

I took his "no idea" to mean that all the dates are relatively uncertain as of right now. The June 26th date is not set in stone, it could change depending on the results of the Beta. So to announce right there that the date for PS3 and PC is July 26th is even more uncertain.

I really hope it at least comes out this summer, not sure how much time I'd have either when school starts back up.
