Didn't all the elven races all splinter off from a central race from Summerset Isle?

the original mer came from Aldmeris, then the dunmer spilt off to worship deadra (and were cursed when they worshiped someone else, so they became dunmer), im not sure how the bosmer came to be

There wont be any major Tamriel province as DLC.

And why not? look at bethesda, every new game they've made in the past few years, have seen their DLC getting bigger and bigger, and with steam and DLC in general as well as pressure from not just the tes community but the console comminities pushing for bigger and better DLc, i think other provinces have a good chance. Sure it'll be more expensive but it's a feasible option.

My bet is that the next full tes game will span over at least 2 provinces, the next generation of consoles are looking towards blu-ray disks which means way more storage space on disk so companies wont have to limit pc renditions to be of console size disks...

DLC today, tomorrow - blu ray. It makes more money to have DLC while limiting the cost of making disk-copies, so yeah, why wouldn't they make other province DLC?

Akavir, no, a bundle of the southern provinces - yes. Morrowind could come back as DLC, and hmm, partial areas of cyrodil will probly be included in future games or DLC to help push story forward. but only areas relevent to the current game's setting/province(s)

Cathnoquey seems plausible as an Imperial province, along with High Rock, but there's also the recently revealed Lleswer and Nucyrod to consider. And maybe Atmora unless it's still iced. I doubt Akavir will be in the next installment, I think the next game will be The Elder Scrolls VI: Alinor.

So if there are eight games left, by the time the last one comes out....

1. I'll be over 60 and still playing.
2. Some people on the forum will not live to see it (probably taken too many arrows to the knee)
3. We will all have PC's the size of a cell phone, xbox 720's, and PS7's
4. Radiant AI will be autonomous, and generate a game world unique to each user, and interfacing and immersion will be perfect with seamless load times.
5. and there will STILL be complaint threads daily on this forum.

6. They emulate all bugs known since the start of the series to keep the critics happy. :lmao:

I want Elsweyr in a DLC. We haven't seen deserts in the Elder Scrolls and would love to see them on this engine.

Somehow I dont think we will get a whole province as DLC, even as a major expansion it would be pushing it. Of course it is entirely possible that some of the DLC will expand into other provinces, for instance I remember hearing about something about a trip back to the city of Daggerfall in High Rock.
