DLC this, DLC that. Considered thoughts about possible DLC

Something similar to Knights of the Nine from Oblivion (except the enemy is the Thalmor), and/or a questline which gives us a castle like Battlehorn Caslte from Oblivion - seeing as we need a large mansion/house with a forge, library, armoury, kitchen, winery, stable, private quarters, and what not.

I'd like to see the Bard's College fleshed out into a real faction with its own story arc. Along with that, maybe add some features that let you actually play as a bard. Musical instruments already exist in-game -- let me play them. In taverns. And earn money proportional to my speechcraft skill.

One of the problems with Skyrim DLC is that it's pretty much impossible to top Shivering Isles, where you literally become a god. I guess the Dragonborn could assume the mantle of yet another Daedric prince, but it's been done. Visiting another plane of Oblivion might be fun, though. I'd like to see Azura's realm, although it might be hard to do it justice. It's described as being unimaginably beautiful, and anything the game designers can create is, by definition, imaginable.

Another Shivering Isles-style adventure might not even be implausible, lore-wise. Sheogorath's line in Skyrim about his title being "passed down from me to me every few thousand years" might imply that the events of SI wasn't the first time a mortal assumed the mantle of Mad God, and maybe that's true of all Daedric princes. The biggest problem is, like I said above, it's already been done.

Speaking of SI, where's Jygallag? I like to see him featured as yet another Daedric prince now that he's free of his curse. Could that be possible DLC material?

I demandith a Phoenix, that is all. And ok for a DLC many items were well rather absent in the unique section. For instance anyone notice there are many two-handed axes but as for swords and hammers I believe there are one or two same with bows.

Secondly, if you listen to each of the daedric gods, I believe for a fact Sheogorath and Peryite mention future dealings with the player. Implying something with them. Since we noticed hints like for Shivering Isles, the secret door mysteriously at the bottom of a lake. So maybe there will be a return of daedra?

Another possible outcome ... I don't know maybe something to do with kicking off a war between the Aldmeri dominion since both the Imperials and Stormcloaks are expecting war and the (*spoiler) Emperor was killed providing a weakness for Aldmeri to press further into trying to control the Empire and/or a new government for skyrim that is asking for war with them.

Another possible outcome that I am a major fan of and has been listed on this forum seems to be the addition of aiding people's leaving destroyed nations... either way pwease add a phoenix.

I have an issue with this idea since the Thalmor hate any elves that are not Altmer so why would Dunmer or Bosmer go against Talos to help the Dominion. My dark elves wouldn't.

You realize the Bosmer founded the original Aldmeri Dominion right?

Psijic Order. Need I say more? Their introduction then sudden disappearance is too suspicious. Being that they have unique clothing, too much suggests that they will be part of future DLC. I'd be prepared to bet anything that this will be one of the cases.

Seems this thread mostly wants a mod to undo skyrim back to the good ol days. I looked at some playthrough vids , it wasn't that great and the footfall audio in morrowind would make me wanna jump out of a window after 4 minutes. Let it be a standalone game , and we'll call it ObliWind.

The Thalmor are about as obnoxiously evil as the ES team could make them without being comical or making them Reapers. I mean, they're Nazi elves who don't even like most other elves.

So I'd love any DLC about saving Talos or killing Thalmor.

Because, really, I hate these guys and didn't get my fill of killing them.

I want a mod that will let me play Morrowind (or Oblivion, for that matter) using the Skyrim graphics engine. I have all 3 games installed, and the landmasses are there, so I'm sure it's possible. I hope someone's working on that.
