Does anybody RP a murderer?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 4:08 am

One of my characters is a Nord witch called Scarlett Snow.
Pure magic mage focusing on destruction, illusion, alteration, alchemy and enchanting.

She doesn't do alot of quests. Only the ones that she thinks are worth her time and attention. She only cares about power and magic so she joined the storm cloaks and the college and she wields the black star. She lives out of a small hut between riverwood, the standing stones and bleak falls barrow. The corpse of the previous owner still sits on the chair outside.

All she really does is explore and clear out dungeons. She murders any citizen she sees outside of the cities and from time to time she will go on a murderous streak on a town or city and kill as many as possible until she is killed or captured. She has been run out of town many a time and always comes back for revenge.

Anybody else have a murderer or psychotic character?

Because he enjoys killing people in a game? Why would YOU kill a kid if I may ask since it seem to bother you that makes you the same kind of person imo. I love playing a good guy, but there's always fun to be a murderous psycopath too. (They even have a questline devoted to murdering people, remember? Dark Brotherhood, known as the best questline of all the questlines in both Oblivion and Skyrim)

Aside from being in the Dark Brotherhood, my current character makes a point of killing any random passers-by he meets on the road. A little banditry on the side never hurt anyone (except maybe the victims, but that's their fault for being victims in the first place, innit?).

Nope, I can't bring myself into role playing the "evil dude" in video games... that is until my wife ticks me off, then I have no problem with it for at least a couple of hours.

I would never make a character especially aimed at murdering people but I am guilty of doing so as I joined the Dark Brotherhood. I have an outstanding contract from the Night Mother but it won't get done - next playthrough I will stay well away from them.

I have made serial killer characters back in Oblivion and Fallout 3.

I focus on murdering people silently without being discovered. Usually sneaking into people's houses at night and slit their throats.
So during the day I'm still a model citizen in everyone's eyes.

Mister Sandman perk in Fallout 3 is especially useful for my serial killer character.

I may make a similar character in Skyrim some time later. But for now I've shelved the game waiting for patches and mods. I'll probably play Skyrim again half to one year later.

Haven't done something like that yet.
Also I have a hard time, playing a bad character without real motivation. Being psychopatic is of course a good reason, but until now I didn't felt like it.

What I sometimes do in games like Fallout, TES, etc. is that I play a character, which is not entirely bad (without reason), but a bit ...
So sometimes I might kill for gold/loot or just kill people I don't like (for whatever reason).

Dexter meets Skyrim. Where is that M99 tranquilizer needle? My character is of course a murderer. I joined the DB but have a bit of a thief in my character as well so I have also joined the thieves guild and since become a nightingale as well. Killing is great in this game...

My current character is a dunmer who started as a thief but he's slowly realizing that he enjoys the thrill of the killing. I can see he looking for the dark brotherhood somewhere in the future.

You just gave me a great idea of rp-ing a female cannibal with good looks, just as psychotic yet only target the men who were fooled into her seduction.

My other two characters are good. I just needed a character who would want to join the DB so I thought up this Nord Ice witch.

wow that was unnesseraly rude...

in my game my nord kills all the thalmor in cold blood so yes i rp a murderer but he justifies it to him self that he is doing going, and he probably is. its still murder tho. i also have a orc female called misery, she looks like [censored] and her lifes been hell, it takes little provication for her to kill with the upbringing shes had, again is justified to her self because its all shes ever known but its still murder. its ez to rp crazys in nv tho bevause of the start, but i think i may rp a dead is dead murderer in skyrim that preys on travelers and the odd person sleeping in there beds... untill he gets caught, then it will be the final show down

that and there is the dark brother hood...

i think alot of ppl go a murdering in video games, hell next time you kill with a sneak attack or kill a person that said thats close enough, thats murder! guess what in real life ppl get paid to murder others and they get call heros, why are ppl being so hands of about killing in video games when combat is like the main mechanic... also i fail to see the link to immortal children.

Playing a murderer can be fun. I've got a dunmer serial murderer. I pick someone, stalk them until I know their routine, and then get them in their beds. I always leave a single nightshade on the bed next to them.

You are the kind of person who can't tell the difference between an author and his characters. Playing a role doesn't make you crazy irl. Relax, peeps. They aren't real people.

Wrong actually the ESRB forces them to. Regardless of if anyone would actually kill them or not children cant be killable if they want to stay at an M rating. Same reason you can't kill kids in GTA or any other game.
