Hell no I love the new wood elves. They were my favoured race in Morrowind and I'm finally playing one again. They made them the most unappealing race in Oblivion to me, especially with the female voice.

A big salute to Bethesda for finally getting all their elves to match lore AND look way cool (OK, Altmer still look mixed, depending on how detailed the headridges are for the specific face preset). Bosmer should always have looked like this. Any race which eats their own dead should look a bit scary.

Oblivion elves, especially Bosmer, were a crime. Morrowind's high and wood elves were the most hideous monstrosities in terms of appearance out of the box; mods helped immensely, but the lore-based facial structure plus Beth's lousy texture art made them truly horrific. Skyrim textures + lore = WIN. Re-made my Morrowind Dunmer custom-class thief/mage and LOLd from joy when saw that, not only was his un-modded face now awesome-looking with the ES elven facial structure, but they re-added the tatoos (and approximations of some of the hairstyles) from Morrowind!!! Like coming home. . .

Anyone else want the Morrowind Dunmer voices back? Gravel never sounded so good.
