I used Wax Key once, and I was mightily annoyed by it, in fact. Let's take for example some fort's prison area. You unlock one of the cells, and you get the wax key for it. So, then you open the next 5 cells with the key and forfeit the lockpicking XP that you would normally get for them. That's really some sort of facepalm design.

The perk that sets the pick to a position near the sweet spot is nice; I like Unbreakable a lot as well; and I like Treasure Hunter a lot. I definitely found more rare stuff with Treasure Hunter than without.

Yeah, avoid that perk until you get lockpicking to 100.

I forgot what exactly the perks were, but the one that makes your picks unbreakable is pretty legit.

I don't see the point in wasting a perk in unbreakable whereas i have nearly 1000 lockpicks

you can have 100 lockpicks and still not open a master lock without perks and a high enough skill lvl.
Don't mean to boast but I've opened a master lock with three picks at low level.

Also, I imagine that Unbreakable is most useful for people who find themselves in jail a lot. Treasure hunter seems well worth it, I have to admit. And even though Wax Key forfeits experience, it sounds fun.

I don't see the need unless you are roleplaying a thief. I mean, you aquire lockpicks faster than you can break them.
