Does it seem like oblivions weapons were a lot more creative

It seems like oblivion weapons are a lot stronger and more creative than the ones in skyrim in my opinion. What do you guys think.

Haven't played Oblivion, but I think the glass weapons look much better in this game than in the previous one.

Well they had shortswords in Oblivion. I liked shortswords. Suited my character when he was in a city wearing clothes.

Also I preferred it when Greatswords were called Claymores. Daedric Claymore just has a nicer ring to it.

Yeah well the design of oblivion weapons are better, but since skyrim has better graphics the weapons look more refined. I still like oblivions art for weapons and armor more better than skyrims.

My eyes were forever damaged from how fluorescent glass was in OB.

I definitely liked the variety in Oblivion. Like the short swords someone mentioned before.

Only thing I miss is the glass weapons.
Glass weapons in Skyrim just look like elven with turquoise trimming.

I didn't like the designs for most weapons in Oblivion, ESPECIALLY glass, which looks less like blades and more like blunt slabs.

My Opinion.

So suddenly Oblivion has variety and creative weapons? I'm going to be frank.

Hell no.

yes oblivion has a variety of weapons and the designs for them are better then skyrim's weapons. Skyrims weapons do have more detail though.

It's Fandom Logic, the new work is always super-cool for a few months before it's hated forever and worse than all the previous installments, untill the next installment arrives and becomes a few months old then it's super-cool again and the newer work is hated forever. Repeat until the death of the series or the human race.

Please don't tell me you think Skyrim has more variety and creative weapons...Oblivion had way more styles of weapons for a fact

Now if you are going to side with the older games, I must agree.

Skyrim has vastly improved on their weapons. So no, I do not think Oblivion has better weapons, except for Ebony. They just look weird in this game, The sword is like half blade.

But I would like to have a club back, would be funny to use.

I miss the silver and ebony weapons from Morrowind and Oblivion. Ebony was always, ALWAYS my favorite. Still don't really like Ebony in Skyrim.
