Friendly reminder> lol dont forget to fix this please >_> :gun:

"Friendly reminder > lol" The patch has gone final, you can stop bumping this and "reminding" them now. It will be fixed, or it won't be. Given that it existed since Fallout 3's release, you can probably guess which option I expect to be the case too.

I've never had ash and goo piles cause lag before, then again, I am playing on the PC version, it could also be that I've never actually gotten enough piles in one place to significantly impact performance. I still hope they fix the glitch, though, because I don't want to have permanent piles of ash and green goo cluttering up the game needlessly, I also wouldn't want bodies to not dissappear after a while.

I use a different mod that will let the target disintegrate into goo but it disappears over time or when I leave the map, something like that. So I can still enjoy the goolifying eye candy... :laserweaponsmiley:

I have such a mod too, actually. Still, saying "There's a mod for it." is hardly an excuse not to fix a bug, seeing as console players don't get the fix that way, and it seems rather stupid for developers to deny their main target demographic fixes for bugs, especially when those bugs are left over from the previous game and really should have been fixed upon release. Besides, there wouldn't be any need for mods to fix such bugs if the official patches themselves would fix them.

Of course, if the bug isn't fixed, they could always fix it in a later patch. It's not like this patch HAS to be the last patch for the game.

Still, I wouldn't be too confident in this bug getting fixed either. I mean, it was already known in Fallout 3, yet Obsidian didn't fix it in New Vegas. I mean, sure, New Vegas had its own share of bugs on release, of course, so maybe they were so busy fixing bugs that they just didn't have time to fix this one, but you'd think the bugs left over from the previous game would have been the first ones to be fixed. And even when they started patching the game, it still didn't get fixed, it looks as though this bug will inevitably become one of those that PC players will just need to fix using unofficial bug fixes, and console players can only just live with it.

Of course, I absolutely agree. I was (still am) one of those disillusioned console gamers. :sadvaultboy:
