What glitch? :unsure2:

The fact, since Fallout 3's initial release, that the ash/green goo piles from disintegrating opponents with laser (ash) or plasma (green goo) weapons pretty much never go away.

As if they'll fix something they left around for the next game in a patch.

There is modfix for this at nexus. However it fix it by preventing target from disintegrating in to goo/ash at all. You still get laser/plasma effect on enemy however.

I didn't know about this "bug" until recently, but as long as the frame rate stays decent, I don't count it as a problem; One thing I loved about the game Myth, was that bodyparts never faded, and you could literally stain the earth with piles and piles of slain foes ~and it stays there.

*I'd rather there be no respawns at all.

See the series had something neat about it from day 1 ~No resurrection ~anything killed stayed dead. All of its contemporaries (or most of them) had a means to haul your buddy back to town and spring him from death; Fallout was a pleasant change, and the only 'respawns' were plausible ones, where you encounter "different" raiders, and animals on the open world areas. Since FO:NV is not shackled to the need for timeless/indefinite play, it needs no respawns at all.

(Though a few, like in dog dens or the NCR outposts could work nice)

Honestly, I don't see the problem with them. Is it the fact that it slows the game down with too much clutter?

And that trying to loot the (still existing) goo pile (After that enemy has respawned after 3 in-game days) can cause crashes. (Does for me)

I use a different mod that will let the target disintegrate into goo but it disappears over time or when I leave the map, something like that. So I can still enjoy the goolifying eye candy... :laserweaponsmiley:

It's speculated since FO3 GoTY that this glitch is one of the reasons combined with other glitches/bugs plus the memory leakage on the PS3, for the lagging/freezing issues.

That's why I switched platforms, I got tired of these stupid fixable problems.
