Dragon bone AND Dragon scale weapons? : V

Well we all know that they're adding the dragon bone weapons in Dawnguard.. But the dragon smithing perk lets you smith dragon bone and dragon scale armor. So are they gonna have Dragon bone and dragon scale weapons?? because All i've seen on this forum is people talking about dragon bone weapons but not scale ones.. it would be nice if they have more variety since you can make both light and heavy armor version of the dragon armor.

Ithink they are called DragonBone weapons, but they combine both scale and bone in their appearance

many ancient cultures used bones in weapons and tools, such as arrowheads and the like. scales. . .no.

This. It would be nice. TBH it would be nice to have more sheathes and quivers in general. Wonder what the dragonbone arrow quiver will look like... Most likely a hollowed out bone.

Scales like the ones in Skyrim are more clothing-ish, bones are extremely hard and is easier to make weapons out of than scales. It doesn't look silly to make weapons out of bones, but scales just doesn't look right. There is a way to make it look cool, but it wouldn't look anuthing like the armor

The only way I could think of making a scale sword would be to use them as an edge. Otherwise, impossible. As for the actual game...probably only bone.

Technically, the proper question would be "Dragonplate AND Dragonscale weapons?" Because there is no dragonbone armor, there's Dragonplate for Heavy and Dragonscale for Light. As for the weapons, my lips are sealed.

Yes I do they've only said Dragonbone weapons when pictures of them were leaked it was only dragonbone weapons. Dragon Smithing lets you make both light and heavy dragon armor because they are two different skills There is no light weapon or heavy weapon skill so having both unnecessary.

It never bothered me much that you couldn't make dragon bone weapons, so it won't matter much. But I think the "Dragon Bone" and "Dragon Scale" was just to differentiate light and heavy armor, which is unnecessary with weapons.

Doesn't matter much, since I just use glass everything anyway, and my armor's over 500. Now I just use the leftovers to make Legendary glass battleaxes, which I sell when I need a little extra gold.

actually, there is a specific fish with razor sharp SCALES and i forgot what culture ( I think it was either Native Americans or one of those Amazon tribes ) but they used them as arrow heads and more... I would think that a dragons scales would be extremely sharp and or incredibly strong

Except that people in history actually have used bones as lethal weapons. And I think we can assume that dragons have strong bones and scales, too, but how would one fashion scales into weapons? They're designed to protect and cover, which is what they do.
