What leaves me uneasy is how I almost feel urged to be a bit Nord focused in this game (mostly just because of the setting), EXCEPT.. I wonder if making too many Nord centric choices is following more the spirit of Wulfarth than it is Talos or Alessia. Wulfarth was the big "RAWR Skyrim is for the Nords!!!11" figure in his day, and ousted the Alessian pantheon, not to mention butted heads with Talos.. As a mortal, he reinstated the Nord pantheon and had an urge to kill as many elves as possible. It's just uncool. It's not what TES has been about for.. umm.. 20 years or so. How is being a "true Nord" suddenly a good choice?

It's not unrelated at all. At least I don't find it unrelated. Here's where I get with this: Wulfarth is probably some sort of "avatar" of Tiber Septim/Talos (or vice versa - I am NOT a student of lore....) So.... yes, there's some "nord-centrism" going on backend. The "push" to Nord is pretty obvious - even I made Nord toons the first few.... before the old rebel in me got cranked up. Sometimes, the devs I think tend to maneuver players. It's not always bad.... but I'd prefer they never went there. TES for me has always ALWAYS been about choice in how to play. So when I feel "pushed' I'm not happy....
I do have to say that I think this game is the beginning of a "new generation/era" of TES. So things are maybe in flux right now. I'm willing to wait a while to see where we go from here. Though I still miss the openness of temples - and the availabilty of Akatosh.... and the general belief in the Divines that permeated the previous games. So far, Skyrim (it's FUN, don't get me wrong on that!) is pretty bare in the "belief" area.
