Dragon mounts. Will not happen.

I just want them to add the "real" moving carriage.
DragonMount is ridiculous. What do you think we're playing? How To Train Your Dragon?

-__- You don't get them into a dungeon.
Some dungeons end in an open clearing at the top of a mountain.

Fast travel, run, or take a horse (preferably Shadowmere) and be done with it. Its a sandbox game meant for you to find you way to your objective not cheat and just fly there (riding a horse is also cheating).

Besides you wouldn't be able to do much with a dragon mount anyway, that and the fact people would complain about the glitches and problems etc etc. So no, there will be no dragon riding.

DMs would shorten the length of the game seeing as how half the game is walking.

I don't use horses.
I've never used a horse in any TES game.

If Bethesda adds in dragon mounts, it would make half the dungeons and quests simple.
Lets say they do add Dragon mounts. Nobody is forcing you to use them.

I'm sure they wouldn't add something that large and not force it upon the player for certain quests.

They have already forced you to do it

I must say, it looked rather silly when I did that with my character.

I don't consider Odahviing a mount, It was a one time thing and it was just for a few seconds before it cut away.

Then after you complete those "certain quest" don't ride the Dragon anymore.

If Bethesda adds in dragon mounts, it would make half the dungeons and quests simple. There are certain shouts and objectives at the top of mountains that you have to traverse through a dungeon to get to. Also the game would have a hard time trying render the frame rate it would take to fly over the entire map, Dragon Mounts should only be a mod.
Just give me the option to ride Odahving. He let ya do it once for the MQ lol. And i'm not saying make dragon that crawls around on the ground. Land or fly should be your options, with a strafing breath attack that has a cool down timer while on the wing. Straffing land bound targets isn't as easy as you think.
So would i love too fly around on the one loyal dragon companion I've shouted into submission? Sure!
Am I likely to see it in Skyrim? Probably not. No.

They won't add dragon mounts because of the simple fact that it's dumb from a TES standpoint.

I know all the dragon boinkers wanna "ride" them and all the newfriends wanna train them but that's just not how they work in TES lore.
