Embarrassing things you do in Skyrim

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 1:17 pm

Ok this is both an embarrassing and Oh S#!T moment: Playing one night and in party chat with fellow Airman on base, I'm trying to get to a quest area on foot because I haven't been there yet. Well while complaining to my friends about how I'm most likely going up the wrong side of the mountain I hear a dragon. thinking oh great I don't have time for this I start looking up to see where this retarted flying raptor is. So I'm looking and looking and I hear the roaring but can't see him then the one time I look back at the ground area RRRRRRAAAAAAAWWWWWW!!! Sabercat 2inchs in my face, I scream "Holy F######n S#!T and fall back in my chair. Everyone on chat is laughing asking wtf happen? After this I get S#!T at work for a week -_-.

You can actually, some skulls in Skyrim you are able to pick up and place where ever. There are also troll skulls and some quest skulls you can get that have glowing eyes.

ah well I have yet to run into any other of bones like that but I haven't really looked, I wouldn't be surprised if they were out there too. Not all skulls are obtainable but for some reason some of them are you just have to keep an eye out for them.

Pile up bodies next to long drops and Shout them into the great beyond...the song 'It's raining men' often comes to mind.

I spent 5 minutes chasing a bunny with a warhammer, but after a while I gave up. They move fast.

That cracked me up! :bunny:

I spend way too much time chasing butterflies and petting horses.

Um, i like to position dead bodies (bodies of people whom i hated) in extremely weird and disgusting positions
Such as this http://i.imgur.com/cREKV.jpg

Warning: Its really quite sick and disgusting. But i really hated galmar stone fist, soooo.
Although to be fair i was trying to get him in the position of a roast pig on the table at first, his body just refused to orientate in the correct direction and somehow ended up like that.

Haha I lol'd...

The dangling signs over shops? Yeah. I like to run up, jump and hit them with my head to see how far I can get it up....lol

Nice how they included that little bit in the physics engine :)

I wonder if there's any shingles that aren't attached by chains - i.e. you jump up, hit your head, knock yourself out :)

I spent an entire night robbing every home in Whiterun, leaving behind a single salmon as my calling card. In the game world I would be the 'Sneaky Salmon'. In the real world I was ridiculed for an hour by my best friend

LOL oh man that was good.. Roleplaying things I do would probably make some of my friends laugh at me lol. Like taking shelter when its raining, just to sit by a fire at the Inn and read a book and have some mead while the storm passes.

if only that was in RL. Wonder if that was what people do 500 years ago...

I don't think of this as embarrassing, but a bit quirky. I despise being dirty; maybe it's a Breton thing, I don't know. So whenever I'm home in Whiterun, I take advantage of the public baths. Baths, you ask? Surely you've noticed the pools and showers on the path between the town proper and Dragonsreach. They're obviously the Nord version of the private baths I'm used to in my homeland. I wish they weren't so cold though, lol

A while ago I pieced together the bones of a skeleton I killed. Took me a while.

I didn't realise how much verbal diarrhea Skyrim gave me until I asked my girlfriend what was so funny and she started reciting all the full-blown conversations I'd been having with Lydia while we went on quests. Mostly me berating her or complaining about tombs full of undead draugr.
'Ooh, look a cave, wonder what's inside' 'Dead things, Lydia, it's always more f*cking dead things'.

As for funny stuff to do, I like to stack bowls and stuff of the like and play Jenga by pulling out one from the middle and hoping they don't fall :P

As for immersive stuff, I tend to turn out the lights if I go into a cave to make it dark.
Dwemer ruins scare the crap out of me. Especially when spiders and the like pop out of the drains...

Remove everything my character wears before using bed, and leaving my horse at the nearest settlement when going into larger, multi-leveled dungeons that have separate entrances and exits. Currently he's waiting at Winterhold while i'm "beneath the ice"

I was working on the Smelter in Whiterun converting ore into ingots and in the workshop creating weapons. It got so hot , so I removed my clothes and continued to work. Few seconds later Adrianne stopped by and yelled at me "Put some clothes. You fool".

I have a habit of dumping dead bodies into bodies of water. If they're too far away, I resurrect them, lead them into the water, then wait for them to die again, letting their ashes flow downstream.
Same here.

I remove the clothes off dead female NPC and revive them (with Dead Thrall). Then I walk around with two females in bikini. I tend to do this on mages for range.

Accidently pressing and holding Z, mistaking it for SHIFT, resulting in poor NPCs been hurled around by Unrelenting Force.

the fact that i have to pick up EVERY book i see unless it is owned and i already have it :read:

also that when taking over Whiterun i fought until I got to dragon's reach then realized I liked the current Jarl so I ran around in circles trying to decide if I should load an old save or not

most embarressing thing that people have seen was when I first showed the game to my brother I was bragging that I had no troubles killing mages then the first mage I saw killed me in 3 hits....... still don't know how that happened
