They have an admirable goal. They believe what they're doing will turn everyone back into gods(Not just themselves). The way they go about trying to achieve that goal? Not so admirable. Despicable really.

I really doubt the AD wish to turn humans into gods, Mer maybe, but humans surely not ?? I'd be surprised if they even wanted to turn non-Altmer mer into gods.
