No, this is not another Empire and Stormcloak thread, but rather an Empire+Thalmor thread.

Personally, I figured everyone would prefer the Empire... but I've seen some posts where people prefer.... the Thalmor?

Just wondering, who here likes the Thalmor, and why exactly? There victory would not only change the game itself, but it would affect the game digitally - by creating a reboot of the series! (Maybe).

I would like them if they weren't so snotty. They actually kinda turned me away from ever playing high elves since I got the game.

I use to like elves, back as a kid when I was fascinated by Legolas.

Thalmor ruined it for me.

They remind me too much of nazis and kinda ruined highelf/woodelves for me.

I hate the Thalmor, but they haven't made me dislike elves or Altmer. They're a single political group, they don't represent every elf. All my characters, including my Bosmer and Altmer, are against them.

Every Thalmor I come acrossed gets a blade through them, and their wallet stolen as well. It's kind of a tradition.

Well I had no choice but to cross swords with the Thalmor when I agreed to rescure Thorald from Northwatch Keep. I tried to reason with them but they just weren't interested. I couldn't allow any fellow Nord (or any other race come to think of it) to be tortured and killed no matter what they had done. After that they sent hit squads after me for a short while, they also attacked me once simply for stating I had the right to worship whichever god I pleased, I didn't even worship Talos as well (had a few times though), I worshipped Kynareth.

They happened to be a great source of loot for me in early levels with all their expensive and light Elven armor, so for that I thank them.

They are arrogant, elitist, and laughable warriors. I support the Empire and gut every Thalmor I can.

Just don't tell us Nords we can't worship Talos. And definetely don't round us up and torture and kill us simply for disobeying such a ridiculous demand.

Empire, down with the thalmor, defiler of the noble race of elves.

I want the Thalmor to triumph. The mighty Tamrielic Empire is no more, now it's some rump state led by a former warlord.

I save them whenever they get into battles with bandits.

Thalmor will go down you're giving the rest of altmers everywhere bad names.

To paraphrase Yahtzee: Thalmor are like Skittles, in that you can rid the world of as many as you like, and never get a bad taste in your mouth.

Empire. If you supported the Empire because the Stormcloak was full of racist asshats, how could you not despise the Thalmor?

Why support the thalmor or when they are so fun to kill.

Stormcloak cause is still not inherently racist. There are racists who support the Imperials as well just to back up my point. Wether individual members of the Stormcloaks are racist can't really be used to tarnish their entire cause.

The Thalmor is an interesting faction, but I can't see how anyone would want to support them. Destroying Unmaking the world is not something people should want.

Empire without a doubt when this is the choice I get.
