The COD's that were fun and not evil is COD 4 MW and every COD before that, and WaW was alright (mostly because of nazi zombies)

Gamers follow favored developers, always have. I don't know KZ2 well enough to know how influential this guy is, but if he's known to have been "The Guy" behind a particular map or mechanic, there will be players who follow.

Is it going to be a bad thing, because I don't know KZ2 so I don't know the kinds of players that play it?

Still seriously doubt it. There's a difference between following a favored developer, and following a single person from a dev team.

Never once heard of anybody saying something like "The sound editor from [Title A] is working on [Title B]! I love his work! I have to get [Title B]!

I mean, I'm a fan of Chet Faliszek's (writer for valve) work, but I won't buy a game just because he's involved.

The Zombie Mode is Black Ops was pretty great as well. Too bad nobody who played it ever used their mics...

They should really make Nazi Zombies its own little franchise.

What make controls "weighty". How do they comapare to COD's controls? I'm a little lost.

It's mainly the movement of a weapon on the screen.

In CoD, the weapon will stay in one place pretty much. Only if you turn very fast it moves out of place for a moment (I personally love that; much better than in Counter Strike, where weapons are basicly glued to the screen).
In Killzone (and BRINK), the weapon moves a lot when you move a lot (which does make sense, imo). Also KZ2 wouldn't put you into 100% movement straight away, I think. You build up momentum when you start turning; it's only a minimum, but still noticeable when you're used to Counter Strike or Call of Duty.

i think that weighted feel in BFBC2 has alot to due with the sensitivity at max feeling like cod sensitivity at 4 or something and it also feels like when you trying to turn around the sensitivity starts off slow then gets faster, which is basically what revoluzzer is talking about now that i read it again. I enjoy BFBC2 but i wish the max sensitivity was faster.

honestly when playing MW2 i never ran into the lil kids screaming into their mics. I ran into older guys screaming cheat when i out performed them with skill.

First time i played (i got the game like 10 months after it came out) so i was low-level compared to everyone else. Winning Free-for-All matches against level 65+ players all screaming im cheating....all it meant was i had worse attachments and not access to every weapon.

2nd or 3rd match i ever played i grabed the rocket launcher to see how it fired, i switch weapons aim and lead the target fire. When it reaches my target a 2nd target trying to knife the dude from behind runs up and gets taken out too. 2nd target begins to yell, kill stealer nood alert can't play without a noobtube. It really annoyed me so i yelled back "Not a noob but you bent over and took it like a pro didn't you" then i proceeded to hunt the dude down the rest of the match cause well i was pissed

End of the match i won with most kills on the dude so he quit the lobby, everyone else thanks me cause he kept camping on everyone.

The only time i get kids screaming over mic is when i play Blur (online racing game with power-ups..think mario kart but with advlt cars)

They COULD do that but then no one would by the COD games they dish out every year, and they would lose some money unless you would have to buy each map indivdually on the game, which i can see them doing. but no one would buy it, they just want everyone to buy the maps in a map pack so they can give out some other [censored] maps i don't give two [censored]s about.

And on black ops there is waaayyyy to many kids on there, some call me Dr.Fagggot, while others just svck and leave, or take my kills at the first few rounds then [censored] when i take there kills after that. and most people who DO have mics complain so much i eventually mute them, they always tell someone else to open all the doors, even if they have way more points then he rest of us, because almost everyone on COD are greedy jews, and they dont bother reviving you if your half way across the map, even if there are not alot of zombies, instead they are more worried about where the box is, and sometimes i hear them calling people names if they get the ray gun or thunder gun or anything of the such, and complain when they die because apperantly if you have a good gun you become invulnerable, and if you die you svck.

ALOT, of kids and older guys who are social rejects, some of this stuff was even said/done to me. Im not sure what i just ranted about but i sure hope NO COD players come to brink, and if they do i hope they don't stay long if they are going to act like they do in COD. :spotted owl:

lets see.....i played every COD game ever made before KZ2, so, probably just my awesome will to adapt to everything and anything :toughninja:

And no you all! COD was really good and fun to play before it became evil and filled with children screaming on their mics!

I agree, the old CoD games were sick. I didn't even mind the treyarch ones like 'Big Red One'
