With mods...

And considering that is a mod, it will likely be ported to New Vegas.

This is how I envision Fallout 4 looking, everything in that video was amazing graphically. (Quite a leap & bound past Fallout 3)

Thanks for sharing friend. :tops:

EDIT: Lets hope the new engine Bethesda's been holding back from us packs enough punch to do something like this. :)

I doubt the consoles could run that maxed out, the GPU in them is just not powerful enough. (moot point since no mods on the consoles).
OP: That would be a mod, the vanilla game will not look like that, but maybe it will be made to work on NV on the PC.

I could care less about graphics really, 2 of my fav RPGs were the old Ringworld game and the early Ultimas. Both of those look like crap nowadays but I still play them every once in a while.

I agree with you, but I also believe that there should be some sort of natural progression in graphics as games go along. (I don't care if its HD 3-D mega graphics, I like things to get more sharpened looking and to have better animations. Fine details make everything.) :tops:

I agree.

More over, I think developers should stop investing so much in graphical quality and focus more on content in general (like how F:NV is doing). Some optimizations here and there, but nothing major. In my opinion games do not need to look any better than what they already look.

Pretty.
But I'd rather be able to have the next fallout game on the 360 than for it to be exclusive to PC. >_>
Graphics or content. I choose content. :)
I have other games for graphic.

Definitely. There may be better games if developers focused on good content rather than graphics and visuals.

Besides, I don't think all games are going to look as amazing as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hEhU1q_BWw&feature=related for a long time.

We'll have to wait for Xbox720 and PS4 for that. :tops:

Yeah. There likely won't and the gameplay in that "tech-demo of a game" was as exciting as a dead turtle. :P

Having games that look like that just proves the point that now would be a good time to start optimizing instead of enhancing, and focusing on the aspects the gamer experiences first and foremost.

Looks nice, though to be frank I'd find some of those effects pretty distracting if I was playing the game like that. I could certainly do without the interactive screen effects.

It looks nice, but it's to polished and shiny for the Post-Nuclear DC Ruins.

I can see some of these features making their way to New Vegas. I think the xbox could run it. If the game is optimized well for console. I mean...they're launching Crysis 2 on console. So I would think a console could handle this, but maybe not to the same level as PC's, the settings may be turned down a bit, while on PC you could crank em' up depending on your hardware

Eh...I dunno. I thought the gameplay in Crysis was as good as any other straight shooter I've played. Overall I thought it was a better game than most other shooters of the time. I always thought people hated on it because they couldn't max the settings on their computers. :P

Some likely did diss it for that reason. I, on the other hand, couldn't even finish the demo - not to mention the whole game which I later borrowed from a friend. :P

Something of it just turned me away and made me yawn. I was much happier with games like Serious Sam, STALKER and even with OFP:Dragon Rising.

i wish my pc did not svck. i would buy FNV for it and basicly any other game. mods are so awesome

i think next generation of consoles should have the ability to mod or download mods.

Ps. feel free to tell me how unlikely and absurd that is
