Falmer woes ...

Good luck. Remember, every time you kill a falmer, god mastvrbates a kitten.
OMG, what is wrong with you?

Thanks, all. I've just made level 10...
Yeah, I was in Legendary Ebony armor in the mid-20s before I ever came across a Dwemer ruins.

try to get to a spot where they can't get to you, ontop of a rock or a ledge, from there you can just shoot them down. its more difficult when they have ranged skills though. and don't forget that falmer are blind.. they can't see you. if your sneak is a bit ok, you can walk past them.

Whit my thief (lvl 35) i clear those places by just walking past all the falmer, only problem are the bugs walking around.

Green.... part of this may be that you're new to the mechanics still. Once you're more comfortable with the way the game works (as far as hand-eye coordination etc.) it may not be so difficult for you.
Sweet of you, but I'm afraid it's just old age ... gets to us all after a time! Here's my speed: cast a spell ... then think a while ... then cast another spell ... then I'm no longer among the living!

Well.... I'd have to say I'm a living testament to "no game is too much - even when you're almost 65" (which I am). Then again, I've been playing computer games since 1985 - with only one fairly major break when I went back to work in 2000 after having been "retired" since 1980 (I was adding an 80 mile round trip commute to a normal workday - I just didn't have the time or energy to play games in the evening....)

Here's a thought. Try a warrior type instead? You don't HAVE to think much with a warrior toon - you just beat on whatever's in front of you. If you're on PC, you can get a save game manager mod so you can hang onto your current toon while you try other builds.

[*giggling*] I'm a Little Old Lady with no hand-eye coordination, and the only way I can play at all is at the Novice level ...
Oh hey, dont feel too bad about being old and fragile. You'll find you get brought crumpets and little cups of tea with a bourbon biscit on the side. Plus there's that bit of getting sponge baths that you may like. You may not like the catheterisation angle though... or would you..

Oh yeah, get that mental image in there. Now, every time you try to do some work, or talk to someone, or even make a cup of coffee, that's the mental image you're going to get.

Great! Glad to meet someone else nearly my age. My first computer game was Wizardry on the Apple -- early eighties, I think it was. I still look back on it with fondness: the start of my addiction.

I am getting better, so I thought I'd try a thief next, and then tackle a fighter. Luckily each one will last me for months and months, so I have a lot of enjoyment in my future.

Bourbon biscuits -- yum! But if anyone comes toward me with a catheter, I'll Fus Ro Dah them!
