And the show that I've REALLY come to like a lot lately is Sons of Anarchy. They put the first two seasons on netflix streaming... and I just got addicted. Eagerly awaiting the third season to come out on DVD now... It's in the makings of becoming one of my favorite shows ever. EVER. That's saying something. :P

I keep hearing this about the show, never seen it personally. Sounds like I may need to give it a watch, since I do have Netflix it would be perfect.

To be honest, I didn't expect anything from it when I saw it on streaming. I had never seen it on TV, and from what I saw of the commercials, it was just another action/drama show that I wouldn't like.

Oh how I was wrong....

Like you said, you have netflix already. Just give the first couple episodes a watch, and see what ya think.

I was really into Stargate SG1 until I saw the last season which pretty much killed it for me. Such is the fate of things that continue on past their time.

As far as my favorite... I can't really decide. Battlestar Galactica was pretty good, as was Lost which suffered the same fate as SG1. Then of course there's all the Star Trek series. I've enjoyed them all, although a few episodes irritate me. I watched Babylon 5 for a bit, which was pretty good, but I never finished it.

My favorite show of all time is definitely Survivor. But I also enjoy Community, Psych, Whose Line is it Anyway, and That 70's Show.

The Wire is the greatest show ever made. Period. Nothing else really comes close. If you haven't seen it, see it. Like, it should be a mandatory program for all citizens of the planet earth. The Bunk, man, the Bunk!

Otherwise:
-Peep Show

Anyone who doesn't think The Wire is the greatest TV show ever made has obviously never seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20G17K_0ghU

Just like anyone who doesn't think that spaghetti bolognese is the best dish ever has obviously never eaten it? There's this thing called personal preference. :P

And I don't watch much TV apart from when about to fall asleep.

Usually a tie between Mythbusters and 1000 Ways to Die. I like watching explosions, and I'm a sadistic little emo kid. I watch FutureWeapons sometimes, but I can't stand the guy on it. He feels the need to talk in a loud whisper and overemphasize obvious things (like the rifle's caliber).

Best tv shows growing up were animaniacs, batman and superman adventures and pokemon.

Favorite tv show of all time is definitely 24.

Right now I'm watching The Office and Modern Family. Thinking about getting an HBO subscription to watch Game of Thrones. Looking forward to the premiere of Falling Skies.

BTW, does anybody know if I can subscribe to HBO without having cable or dish or whatever? So I can just watch them on my pc. Or maybe another place where I can watch HBO shows?

It's really difficult to choose between Red Dwarf and Doctor Who.

Doctor Who is very special to me because it's a tradition between IHaveAFatDog and myself to always watch it together. So there are very nice memories associated with it, and it's an excellent show to boot. Red Dwarf is simply the funniest show ever made.

Right now it's The Big Bang Theory, but of all time it's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa62jiVSLVM&NR=1. I have the whole series on VHS - yes VHS because I can't be arsed to go buy it again in DVD format which wasn't available when I bought it the first time all those years ago.

Link is in case some don't know the show, which is quite possible since it's from the 90s.
