I got so extreme about how great morrowind was so what do I do. I start bashing consoles because I thought maybe TES is made for PC. I'm sitting here thinking about the parents who got a kid, who couldn't afford much, but got an xbox 360 or something so he/she could play skyrim and get so excited about it. And here I am bashing consoles. I really hate myself right now. Because deep down I know what its like. So I'm giving the critiques a break and realizing that if people enjoy it theres nothing wrong with that. I'm trully sorry.

That said, there is no reason beth could not make a game for PC, with like UE3 (worst case), unigine or frostbite 2 using DX11 and HD textures and then dumb the game down for consoles. Its not the consoles fault necessarily.

That was well thought out and well written. Does it really matter what gaming platform we play The Elder Scrolls on? Aren't we all the Nerevarine, Hero of Kvatch, and Dovahkiin?

"Moderator" not "Modder". Modders have no special powers on these forums, if they did, i might have released some of my minor tweaks :hehe:

I could argue yes it does matter what platform, but I'm not getting banned because this board is full of overly sensitive types.

Let me clear it up for you guys.

The PC: It is the best for Skyrim, better graphics (Depending on Card), and you can have mods.

PS3 & Xbox 360 (I own 360) : They have lag, they have decent graphics, no mods.

Over all, ALL CONSOLES (PS3, Xbox, PC) ARE EQUALLY FINE.

Since when? Yeah Arena and Daggerfall were made for PC, because consoles weren't around back then. But as soon as consoles came out, TES games were made for both PC and consoles. They're games made to be played on either one. If you prefer to play on PC, have fun! If you prefer to play on a console, thats great too! I don't understand why everybody thinks console players shouldn't be allowed to enjoy TES games too. It seems kind of selfish if you ask me.

I don't think they shouldn't be available. I think they should be optimized for the computer, and scaled down for consoles. BTW Nintendo says hi. There have been "consoles" since the 70's.

Consoles WERE around back then. NES, for instance.

TES is on consoles only because it saved Bethesda from going bankrupt. Obviously they are not going to remove the "multiplatform" tag anytime soon.
