Female Dark Elf siding with the Storm Cloaks ?

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 2:13 am

Storm Cloaks are haters, I am a hater, I figure we are a perfect match. They hate everyting but Nords, and I hate everything but my Nord wife Aela. So I figure since she loves to yell "Skyrim belongs to the Nords !" then we could join the rebellion, bond through the blood of others, and now her little shout would have some meaning. Besides I think couples should share common interests don't you ?! :bunny:

From a roleplaying perspective, how do you justify the treatment of your people in Windhelm?

If they were not meant to be sheered, the Gods would not have made them sheep ! I am simply helping to seperate the wheat from the chaff. Because it is better to be few and strong, then many and weak !

He could play it as just a fear of what would happen to windhelm if an invading army came through, invasion can be pretty rough on a local populace after all

Stormcloak's hate elves. You're an elf.

Share the interest of hunting instead. :P

We will be hunting ! Just a more interesting game. Besides, I really dis-like the establishment ! Laws are in place to protect the weak, and Anarchy will help to insure a stronger more fit species.

The Stormcloaks oppress the Dunmer, but the Empire always has too. Dunmer have a lot of hatred for the Nords and Imperials, which the Nords and Imperials have always usually been glad to return. Bitterness of Vivec selling Morrowind to the Empire after a clever siege from a waterbreathing army removed the Dunmer's advantage in the war never ends. Dunmer hate the Nords for all the wars they waged and the looting they did, and the Nords don't like mer in general.

Skyrim's civil war isn't very Dunmer friendly. I'd ignore it if you can afford to, just like every other Dunmer in the game.

Can't do it ! My Orc fought for the Empire. Now it's time to turn the tables !! Besides, I wanna see how this story is gonna end ! I see it as badly, but I enjoy the conflicts in the game. So onward !!! I noted they talked trash when I asked to join, but I have the opitions of trash talkin back, so far so good !!!!

I've considered having my dark elf join the Storm Cloaks. After all they may not like her but they didn't try to have her beheaded for no good reason. My problem, as a player, is that no one in game seems to think it's at all odd. No, "You want to join what?" or "Are you kidding?" or "No, way I'm letting that take a castle. She'd probably tell the Imperials."

It's the same problem I have with running a Khajit. They're not allowed in any of the towns, but no one seems to notice your fuzzy little tail is wandering around.

As a Master of Illusion, this one only allows others to see what I wish them to see.

I have noted a few bounties later that they are not so inclined to voice thier opinions. And after the war, there is a storm cloak who will no longer be necessary. But being one of the shunned ones is nothing new. But I don't want the mundane, I want the interesting.

You could play as a very confused, self hating Dark Elf.

That's a bit like a female Courier siding with the Legion in FNV. Except she did get shot in the head :teehee:

Storm cloaks seem logical after all they are sheltering Dunmer refuges... unless... you wish to be illogical!

Being a Bosmer I'm staying neutral, being a thief this civil war suits me fine. Everyone's more worried about each other than me :P But if I was forced to take a side and fight, I'd choose the Legion.

If I take the beaten path to Whiterun, where do I end up ? Whiterun. But if I leave the path and head North ? I end up North, but there is not telling what I will discover along the way ? Perdictable is as predictable does. A Dark Elf fighting for the Nords ? Un-heard of !! This is gonna be fun." Always foreward never straight !!!! "

Khajiit aren't big fans of the cold.

J'Zhargo and Shavari both enter cities.

He is in the college and the open town of Windhelm, again though this city has no walls. I have never seen Shavari insdie any town, which one are you referring to?

Edit:I just looked her up, I have never seen / met her, even in that quest, I am astounded by this!
