Well, I think I should bring up some Norse Mythology.
At the Dawn of the world, there were two lands. A land of Fire, and a land of Ice. Between these lands there was a great hole, Ginnunagap.
In this hole, the world was created. There lived a cow there, called Audhumla.
The cow was licking on the salty stone on the bottom and revealed the body of a man buried in stone.
This man was a Giant, named Yme.
Yme lived down in this hole, living of the milk of Audhumla.
One day, Yme fell asleep. And guess what? His feet decided to mate. From his legs there was born a woman (I think, long since I read up on this) who was a Jotun. (A kind of troll)
His arms mated, and got a son, this one a man.
The man and the Jotun got three sons. Odin, and his two brother I don't remember the name of.
Meanwhile Yme's body had gotten more children and there was many Jotuns now.
Odin and his brothers wanted to see the world adn fought against Yme, killing him and creating the world out of his body. (blood became water, his bones the mountains, his brains the clouds and so on)
Basically, according to Norse mythology Giants can reproduce with themselves.
I know this isn't Vikings, but the Nords are inspired.
