Festivity Pack?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 7:04 am

i've think, the Bethesda with the Obsidian can create a DLC pack who include some weapons and clothes from the famous festivity like Xmas and Halloween? Think to dress the Santa's Suit and use the Bomb Box like the granade. Maybe is funny?

it doesn't fit with the fallout theme and hopefully any dlc will do more than add a few items.

Santa Claus is gunning you down? :tops:

fixed, I know you love that smiley.

How about a forum pack?(not really)

Comes complete with specil NRC T-shirt that gives +2 Int and -10 CHR.

Also it comes with life alert.
You can only aquire it through 500 posts in general discussion of New Vegas forums.

Also adds many in-forum jokes and a DVD that explains why FONV should have an actual ending and 2 perks for every level explained by fellow forum goers.

Also shows many debates on lore.
Includes behind the scenes look on how Super mutants are sterile but still have distinct sixual organs. Also reiterating on the reasons why there are no talking Deathclaws and Wanamingoes anymore. Then we get a interview with ,the one, the only, The Master and why he wasn't able to make an appearance in New Vegas.
Then will have plenty of info on how Aliens ruin Fallout lore and why cannabalism is a novelty and not a real way to survive.

I just want is for the pipboy to say "Merry Christmas" "Happy Halloween" and so on. I would not mind finding old halloween masks like a skull or something. After all the great war was October 23, 2077 very close to Halloween. FO3 has a picture of kids in Halloween costumes as part of the loading slide show. It would be funny to be in an old store and you see what looks like T-51b power armour. You run to it and find it's just a plastic halloween costume.

They should add the Santa suit but only if you join ceasars legion and enslave only children and and little people, i think is the politicaly correct term.

I know games are suppose to be fun and that the fallout series has it's lol moments but... You want to be walking around like santa.... No. Just no. Never.
But if they do then I won't buy it, simple really. :)

While I'd MUCH rather see dozens of other possible DLC's before this there's no reason why not.

I mean anything goes in New Vegas.

A forum pack? Bwhaha.

I wouldn't mind an in-game Santa suit, but for DLC I'd say no. It does sound pretty funny though. What effects would the Santa suit grant you? As for Halloween I'd wear a Michael Myers mask for sure.

Nah. It's a good idea, but this is the wrong type of game for that. That's more of an MMORPG thing.

He must have this game mixed up with another similar rpg. You know, tht one you level up? Dress your charactor? Upgrade your house? Gain companions? Explore new areas? Even has dogs! What was it called? Oh ya, The Sims 3.

Ugh. Yes, I think Bethesda and Obsidian could create a pack like this. Should they? Nahhh...lots of other things I'd rather see them spend their time on. Besides, who needs Santa suits when you've got Elvis impersonators?

That's what mods are for. I wouldn't buy a DLC with a few clothing items.

Not as a DLC, I dont think. But it has potential.

I am seeing a derelict mall with a santa stand, with 'santa' sitting on the chair(santa is a ghoul), there are skeltons and wastelander bodies around him, you go over and talk to him - he asks you what you want for christmas and you are given options of things you can say. If you are greedy he will proceed to attack you, if you have bad karma he will attack you. If you have neutral karma he doesnt want to talk to you any further. But if you have good karma he will give you some food and he will stay there. What you asked for will arrive as a gift at the front of your house, or if you dont have a house a courier will give it to you. Santa will of course have a misc categoried bag of presents, for the collectors and will be wearing a full santa costume. But if you kill him christmas elf hitmen will be sent after you.

Of course this is all tied in to the 'Wild Wasteland' perk. I dunno, I thought it was cool.
