A Few Things I Would Have Changed for Followers

Wow that's a lot of stuff, i would be happy if they just fixed a couple of bugs: folowers don't level with the player and they should and they don't use strong bows like glass or ebony or daedric bows, the best bow that Aela used was a Exquisite Elven Bow and she would just use it with iron arrows, i want folowers to use any bow we give them with any arrows, like a glass bow with elven arrows or even glass arrows

Backup or Move command to make them move out of the way in doorways
Follow close or far
Set primary attack type, ranged, or melee
Guard or agressive. Guard would protect main character and not go out of the way to attack enemies unless the main character is attacked. Aggressive is like how it is now

I wish they would actually follow you, if I go in the wilderness from a mainroad, I only see them again when I go back to a road, it's like they're scared of the wilderness.

Interesting. Not the experience I have. I'm out in the wilderness all the time and my followers aren't "scared". The only issues are pathing over cliffs and rocks. But even when I scale a mountain, if I lollygag at the bottom my followers will find me. I have to work hard to loose a follower.

I like their stubborness. Gives them personality. You have to cater to their personalities and preferences - it works for my immersion.
